In a perfect world

Lately, I find myself working for others more and more often as a necessity.
even though I live very cheaply, not having to pay rent, nor for energy, nor water,
I feel I am still tied to the system by invisible chains that stop me from being totally free from the need for money.
I still have to pay for diesel, insurance and many other things.

when I try to imagine a perfect world, I visualize a situation where I can afford to give my time and skills as a carpenter / builder to the people close to me in the community that can not afford to pay me as a professional.

I see many of my friends stuck with their respective construction projects for different reasons.
some have had a bad experience with professionals that are not trustworthy, others, just run out of money. some, like me, lack the time to see their projects through because they are too busy working for a salary...
a vicious circle.

In a perfect world, I would love to give my time and skills, to those I care about and help them fulfill their needs and dreams so they can move into a house on their lands and start an off-grid living.

In a perfect world, I would not ask for money for any of what I do. I´ll let them feed me, sure.
my reward would be to help a friend move forward and be able to leave the day to day frustrations of modern living behind.

can´t wait for this day to come.
