We are now going to be considering some of the steps used in converting the Bambara nut into food known as Moi Moi:

The first thing you have to do is to go to your farm if you have any to harvest a Bambara nut or you can easily buy from the market.

Once you got your Bambara nut to the house, you need to wash them with clean water two times in order to wash away dirt and other particles.

After washing the Bambara nut, it’s time to take your small knife and start piling off the Bambara shell in order to get the main seed which I could regard as Bambara beans too.

By the time you have completed piling your Bambara nutshell, there’s another shell which could be informed of black or red color covering the main seed that you need to pile off again but in order to achieve it easily, you have to soak them inside a bucket of water. Then start using your hand to pile off the second shell to get the main seed in white color.
