Me presento mi nombre es María Sacramento Tornero Pérez, tengo 60 años, en febrero del próximo año estaré cumpliendo los 61, soy una acuariana muy creativa y siempre ando luchando por la justicia y la igualdad. Mis padres son españoles vinieron a Venezuela en la década de los años 50 esa oleada de mano de obra y que venían tratando de recuperarse de una reciente guerra una civil y una mundial.

I introduce myself my name is María Sacramento Tornero Pérez, I am 60 years old, in February of next year I will be turning 61, I am a very creative Aquarian and I am always fighting for justice and equality. My parents are Spanish, they came to Venezuela in the 1950s with that wave of labor and they had been trying to recover from a recent civil war and a world war.

Trabajaron mucho porque no tenían mucha preparación académica. Trataron que sus 4 hijos estudiaran, soy la tercera de dos hembras dos varones. Mi hermano más pequeño era síndrome de Down, pero muy agresivo posiblemente una lesión cerebral.

They worked hard because they didn't have much academic preparation. They tried to get their 4 children to study, I am the third of two females, two males. My youngest brother was Down syndrome, but very aggressive possibly a brain injury.

Estudie psicopedagogía por esa razón, quería ayudarlo, pero el falleció. Al terminar el bachillerato me fui a la capital a estudiar. Regrese a mi casa en Barcelona al graduarme. Al año de graduarme y estar trabajando me case y tuve tres hijos bastantes seguidos. Una niña y dos varones.

I studied psychopedagogy for that reason, I wanted to help him, but he passed away. When I finished high school, I went to the capital to study. I returned to my home in Barcelona upon graduation. A year after graduating and working, I got married and had three children quite a few in a row. A girl and two boys.

Mi esposo todavía luchaba con sus estudios, así que además de los tres hijos, mi trabajo era su apoyo para graduarse de ingeniero en la universidad de oriente. Al final con mucho esfuerzo se dio. Con mucho esfuerzo seguimos levantando una familia aunque el sueldo de maestra no era mucho, ayudaba en la empresa familiar para tener otras entradas.

My husband was still struggling with his studies, so in addition to the three children, my job was his support to graduate as an engineer at the university of Oriente. In the end with a lot of effort it happened. With much effort we continued raising a family, although the teacher's salary was not much, she helped in the family business to have other income.

A pesar de las dificultades Venezuela era un país de oportunidades, el esfuerzo constante para surgir daba frutos. Compramos un apartamento y trabajábamos mucho para levantar cada día a nuestros hijos.

Despite the difficulties, Venezuela was a country of opportunities, the constant effort to emerge was bearing fruit. We bought an apartment and worked hard to lift our children every day.

Fue como a los trece años de matrimonio que la comunicación comenzó a fallar. La dirección que quería uno no la quería el otro, así que cada quien jalo para su lado y nadie gano. Pronto averigüe de una tercera involucrada y el divorcio no se hizo esperar. A pesar del temor de enfrentar sola sacar adelante tres hijos, conté con el apoyo de mi familia. Estaba muy disgustada por el divorcio, lo sentía como un fracaso. Hasta que un día desperté después de tanto llorar y sentir que era otra oportunidad. Me enferme y tuvieron que operarme tenía un tumor no canceroso y sacaron todo. La doctora me aconsejo bajar de peso, así que comencé a caminar por el parque. Un amigo me ofreció un perrito. Me enamore de Nano desde el principio y lo convertí en mi compañero de aventuras.

It was about thirteen years of marriage that communication began to fail. The direction that one wanted was not wanted by the other, so each one pulled their side and no one won. I soon found out about a third party involved and the divorce did not wait. Despite the fear of facing alone raising three children, I had the support of my family. She was very upset about the divorce, it felt like a failure. Until one day I woke up after crying so much and feeling like it was another chance. I got sick and they had to operate. I had a non-cancerous tumor and they took everything out. The doctor advised me to lose weight, so I started walking in the park. A friend offered me a puppy. I fell in love with Nano from the beginning and made him my adventure partner.

Hoy en día los tres hijos graduados en diferentes carreras, dos se fueron del país buscando mejores oportunidades laborales. Solo uno de los hijos me acompaña en los actuales momentos y continúa trabajando en la empresa familiar. Aquí he contado muchas historias de mi paso por la escuela especial donde aprendí muchísimos de mis alumnos. También he contado como me suceden situaciones de verdad increíbles de creer para localizar personas. Uno de los post que más me divirtió fue el que eran 9 verdades y una mentira. Allí nadie quería creer que siempre llevo una pieza de licuadora siempre en mi cartera.

Today the three sons graduated from different careers, two left the country looking for better job opportunities. Only one of the sons is with me at the present time and continues to work in the family business. Here I have told many stories of my time at the special school where I learned a lot from my students. I have also told how incredible situations happen to me to believe to locate people. One of the posts that amused me the most was the one that was 9 truths and a lie. Nobody there wanted to believe that I always carry a piece of blender always in my purse.

Mi paso en hive ha sido estupendo he conocido participantes maravillosos y a muchos que viven en mi ciudad hemos logrado encontrarnos. Tenemos planeado cuando termine la cuarentena volver a reunirnos a tomar café.

My time in hive has been great, I have met wonderful participants and many who live in my city have managed to meet. We have planned when the quarantine is over to meet again for coffee.
