I always wanted to go to HiveFest and last year when the location was in Bangkok I was so excited and planned my trip as well but due to some reasons I couldn't make it timely and my dream remained a dream. Not only I was interested to see what exactly happens to the HIVEFest but also I wanted to meet fellow Hivers and My friends. We always interact with each other through posts but I never got the chance to meet those persons who are behind the screen, working hard behind the screen for the blockchain. Also, I had a desire to talk to some people who I have been following in the blockchain for so long.
2020 is here and going to end and I was also expecting to see the announcement of HiveFest. Also, I was not so sure how this year everything will be managed because of travel restrictions. So, when I saw the opportunity for a Virtual meet-up in HiveFest, I became excited and did my registration as soon as possible... No way, I can't miss this golden opportunity to meet all the Hive people.
I was not familiar with ALTSPACEVR so I had to do some research for that and also need a few practices on how it works and everything. After several tries, I finally was able to enter the HiveFest 2020 but without the badge. Well, I decoded my personal secret access key, code for entering the Hivefest live streaming but at the check-in point, I was not able to see the screen. I felt that the whole system was laggy even my microphone was not working at all. I was devastated and was looking around as I was not able to go to the main stage.
I tried to talk to many people but still haven't seen any lock for my check-in. Anyway, finally I saw @anggreklestari and started talking to her and she suggested me to restart my pc and reenter. After several tries, I ended up stuck in the lobby section and missed some good speeches.
Later, I saw @adetorrent and started talking to him. When I shared my issue with him about badge claim and entry to the main stage, he suggested me to use teleport. He was the one who helped me to go to the main stage. Thank you so much...
It took me almost 4 hours to enter the main live stream area...
I also meet @bambukah and @enginewitty there and took a selfie with two boiis :D.... I wonder why our hands are invisible... Never mind.

I attended a few presentations: Koinos, Hive-engine, and Hashkings Seeds, Pollen & Plots and missed a lot of presentations too. I was excited as well as confuse because my microphone was not working properly and was not able to talk to everyone. But I talk to @solominer and he heard me clearly and we discussed the communities of HIVE blockchain.
One thing that amazed me was many people were asking about hive festivals and about HIVE who were not part of the blockchain. They seemed curious and asking about the HIVE Fest and Blockchain. They also wanted to join and I saw many people joined the live stream too through the teleport. The lobby area is amazing, you can meet a lot of people there.

I really like the NFT Showroom Gallery (awe at art) and the design was astounding, love every detail and enjoyed the art along with the music as well. I have met a lot of people but don't wanna bother them by mentioning their names. I will share more updates today :D.
The first day started with bad experiences but ended up with good memories... I will be there today also, so catch me there if you want...
