None other needed to counter any of the others’ strategies. The Ocean remained undefeated.
Greetings, Hive!
This is my new entry for the weekly ZapFic challenge by @felt.buzz. The prompt this week is Counter.
If you are zapped for the first time and you don't know what a ZapFic is, you might be interested in the explanation I gave within my previous entry with more previousness in the title:

Behind the photo:
From my balcony. A crop from a wider image. I just selected one of the lightning bolts for this post.
Aperture F 8; Shutter Speed 43 sec.; ISO 100
Long exposure such as this needs to set the Shutter Speed wheel to Bulb mode and hold it manually or by a remote trigger. Or by software. Or by putting a stone on top of your trigger...
This way you can achieve exposures longer than 30 seconds. In this case, the lightning flashed around the 43-rd second of the exposure and I released the trigger immediately after that.
I'm a freelance photographer.
I sometimes organize workshops at cool locations or give various lessons or mentorship according to my own abilities and understanding. And I've come to the understanding that the basics should be free and available before we meet for more ;)
You can find my "Basics of Photography" free lessons in English and in Bulgarian here:

Two published, four more to go.
Thank you for reading!
Yours,
Manol
