Expedition Map Early Development
Over the weekend in the Golem Overlord Discord, the creator of the game @yixn posted screenshots and potential information for an upcoming Expedition mode in Golem Overlord.
Yixn said that the main inspiration for this mode comes from FTL: Faster Than Light and he also got ideas from Path of Exile Sanctum League.

Note: The details below are taken from discord messages with some editing from me. I'm not an official representative of the game and I'm certain all of this is subject to change since the game is still in alpha stages.
- Nothing is set in stone for fights.
- Merchants might have items, golem refills, NFT's that you keep, food, etc.
- You'll be able to wait "X" hours to gather more food or intel on surrounding areas.
- You can either go for fast short adventures or dig deep into the map for long sessions.
- Higher prestige will equal more starting food.

The new expeditions mode looks fun and I can't wait to try it. As I said earlier, I'm not an official representative of the game and the items above could change, but they are ideas posted directly from the game developer.
