Hola amigos en #Hive... Esta publicación está basada en algo suelo denominar como: Uno de mis "fetiches" fotográficos favoritos... Se trata de ventanas y puertas incrustadas en las fachadas de algunas de las casas de diseño colonial, que aún permanecen de pie en las calles de mi pueblo.

Hello #Hive friends... This publication is based on some I usually call as: One of my favourite photographic "fetishes"... These are windows and doors embedded in the facades of some of the colonial design houses which are still standing in the streets of my village.

Se trata de apenas una docena de imágenes... Es una serie con capturas de distinto carácter, lo mismo van a encontrar fotos frontales prácticamente bidimensionales que fotografías con puntos de vistas angulados en incluso algún acercamiento comedido a las superficies para registrar las texturas repletas de un drama complejo y elocuente, casi siempre generado por la intemperie.

These are just a dozen images... It is a series with captures of different character, you will find almost two-dimensional frontal shots as well as photographs with angled views and even some restrained approach to the surfaces to record the textures full of a complex and eloquent drama, almost always generated by the weather.

Quise virar estas imágenes al sepia quizás por una cuestión de humor y también por considerar que el sepia tiene una relación más estrecha con este tipo elementos añejos y de un evidente e irrefutable aire "vintage"...

I wanted to turn these images to sepia perhaps as a matter of humour and also because I consider that sepia has a closer relationship with this type of aged elements and with an obvious and irrefutable "vintage" air...

El registro de estas imágenes fue realizado con mi cámara Nikon D7000 y un lente de focal fija de 50mm, el cual es ideal para este tipo de trabajos debido a su claridad y nitidez... Permitiendo al mismo tiempo fotos desde cierta distancia hasta acercamientos lo suficientemente próximos como para un dramático registro de detalles de las superficies y estructuras.

This images was recorded using my Nikon D7000 camera and a 50mm prime lens, which is ideal for this type of work due to its clarity and sharpness... Allowing at the same time pictures from a distance to close enough for a dramatic recording of details of surfaces and structures.
