¡Hola querido hiver!
Hello dear hiver!
how are you doing? I am very well and happy to write once again for you. This time for a contest that I am very excited about, because not long ago I started in hive and this is my first participation.
The theme of this photo contest is the color green, and I think that nature does it a lot of honor. That's why I will take it as an excellent representation.
I took this first photo before quarantine, when I could go to classes in person. As you can see, it was cloudy and it felt amazing. The rainy days had turned the faculty into a bright green. In the daily routine of the days of classes, nature granted my eyes a beautiful view.
These next ones were made on a hike I did with 2 friends. Here, you can see the green road ahead -the unknown-.
The plan was for more to attend, but for various reasons the others could not go. We were determined; the 3 of us climbed the mountain. We had been told long before that it looked easy, but that it was really exhausting. And it is true, at first it was. But what is life when it is not a constant uphill, what would it be without its ups and downs?
In this photograph you can appreciate the road traveled, the urbanity and the dynamism that this same one supposes. All that we know, or at least we think we know.
Don't forget that the "during" is filled with moments, and it is these that must be felt and appreciated in their totality. No moment is ever the same, no time ever comes back to you. But a capture at the exact instant - preserved in time - could, afterwards, bring you back to all that was.
Green and its shades, similar, but distinguishable. There is no doubt that everything stands out in a different way. But remember, it is the lived moment that has been captured, it is the view for the one who looks, it is the felt for the one who lives it; that is kept in the photograph - much more than a perpetual instant - an art.
