Assalamu Alaikum, dear friends of the community.
Hope everyone is well.
Tomorrow is one of the biggest festivals of our Muslim Ummah, the holy Eid al-Adha. We eagerly wait for this day all year round. Eid al-Adha means the festival of sacrifice, a great sign of unconditional love for Allah. And one of our main tasks around this Eid is to sacrifice animals for the satisfaction of Allah.
The main purpose of sacrifice is not just to slaughter an animal, but behind it lies a great lesson: to sacrifice one's inner pride, greed, and animalistic nature. For the satisfaction of Allah Almighty, Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) was ready to sacrifice his most beloved thing. In memory of that historical sacrifice, we sacrifice animals every year. The Holy Quran says that the blood or meat of the sacrificial animal does not reach Allah, only the piety or piety of the servant reaches him.
A festive atmosphere has prevailed in our house for the past few days ahead of Eid. It is quite challenging to go to the market and choose a healthy and strong animal within your own choice and ability, but there is a strange joy hidden in it.
Finally, by the infinite mercy of Allah, we were able to purchase our sacrificial animal. The beautiful and calm black cow that you can see in the picture is the animal selected for our sacrifice this time.
The crowd at the market, the bargaining and finally the feeling of returning home with an animal that you like is different. Since the day we brought it home, it has been taken care of with utmost care. It is being fed with hay, husk and fresh grass. Everyone in the house, young and old, is taking care of it, which has increased the joy of Eid many times over.
May this joy of sacrifice not be limited to us alone. The real meaning of this Eid is to bring smiles to the faces of the poor, helpless and neighbors around us. Let us distribute the sacrificial meat in the right manner and at the same time be aware of keeping the surrounding environment clean.
In advance, Eid-ul-Azha greetings to everyone. Eid Mubarak!
This was my arrangement for today. I hope you liked the pictures I took and the nature observations. Wishing everyone good health, I bid you farewell here today.
