My farming Days

It's another season of farming and i will like to welcome you all to my daily prompt were i will be writing about farming.

Good morning guys , how are you all doing today? And how is you day going .

The question being asked when was the last time I did something related to farming?

From the moment I was birthed I had become a farmer, what was remaining was for me to start walking and to be able to use my hands .

In my place farming is our main occupation, that’s where our parents feed , cloth their children and sponsor their education

Farming is what 88% of the population’s engage in

At the age of six , when going to farm my parents carry me along with them . As little as I was i follow them to the farm to watch and learn

During school session after school hours we join them in farm

As a child going to the farm was fun because much was not expected from when hungry they feed us and at the end of the day .

As i became older I learnt more and became more perfect

Even after I changed location I continue

I’ve planted cassava , maize vegetables ( okra and pumpkin)

I also planted avocado pear and it’s green and produced fruits

And anytime I go home on holiday to visit my grandma I always assist her in farming

Back to the questions

When last did I do anything related to farming ?

The last time I did anything related to farming was in 2024 during one of my holidays

It’s was very fun and interesting to me

It’s amazing to plant , care for a plant and at the end of the day they grow and you that planted it can harvest it

According to my grandma, in her words she says “ your hands are good and they grow crops “ because this she’s always insisting that I help her plant crops like pumpkins, maize , fruits ( any kind ) .

It’s so amazing planting , bringing something to life tendering to it each day by weeding it applying fertilizer when needed and at the end it’s produces something nice .It’s come with a big joy of accomplishment that I did this myself

Thank you for your engagement.
