An Electric Vehicle Conspiracy Theory

EVFuture.png

Let us say that the politicians pushing electric vehicles for everyone are not completely delusional, nor are they unaware of the ramifications of what they push.

Assuming they know

  • Not enough materials mine to make batteries for everyone
  • Not enough electrical infrastructure to charge all those cars
  • LiIon batteries explosively self destruct.

So, if they know all that, and are still pushing only electric cars to be sold by 2030 (in California) then they have goals that are probably extremely scary.

Such as:

  • They want the average person to be without a personal car
  • They want only those they deem worthy to be driving on the roads.
  • They want the big auto manufactures shut down, so normal people can't get new cars

That is a lot of big ifs there, but we have to believe them, else we have to assume that the people behind the politicians are all idiots. We have to assume that what govern-cement is doing is what they want done.

No cars for the poor

Lets say you wanted to limit car ownership, how would you go about doing that? You want poor people to not be able to afford a car and/or put enough regulations in the way that they can't legally own a car.

So, the first thing you do is have a "cash for clunkers" program. Buy up all the decent old cars, and now there is a diminished market of used vehicles. Unfortunately, that only sorta worked.

Then you put more and more regulations on automakers so that car prices go through the roof. (along with financing at 0% - lower interest means a higher car price can be obtained) Small pickups need to be made larger, or have an insane MPG, or the manufacturer pays a fine. All this to make cars more unaffordable.

Then you make an entire type of car illegal. Make all those, old, gas guzzling cars illegal. And suddenly only the rich are driving.

Destroying automakers

So, let us imagine that you want to shut down some American automakers.

What is a way you could do this?

Force them build cars that you know they can't build, and keep it up until they go broke, or throw i the towel.

There isn't enough raw materials to build EVs instead of ICE vehicles. Even if there was enough demand, and we worked out how to manufacture them at that scale, and stopped them from spontaneously having a nuclear meltdown.

So, if the politicians passed laws that automakers had to do the impossible, or shut down. Well then, there are going to be some shut downs. Now all the politicians need to do is keep the blame from being pointed back at them.

This is quite insidious, but given the facts of what govern-cement has done, then this is the conclusion.

EVs are toast

The EV push by congress is still happening while EV owners are fleeing back to ICE cars.

The lithium ion batteries are too expensive to replace.
The replacement battery costs more than a used car with a still working battery.

LiIon batteries are bursting into flames and quite the pace. Most of these car fires are not reported. Are actively kept out of the news. Burning down houses in the blink of an eye, and the fire department can't do anything about it. It burns hot enough to burn through concrete. (see the destructive fire in the car park structure that took out the top floors)

And then there is the charging time. The charging anxiety on long trips. Can you make it to the next charging station? All of this makes any long distance EV driving a terrifying experience. A lot of stress that you do not have with an ICE car.

Lastly, there is the obvious NOT GREEN-NESS of it all. You pull into a charging station, and there are big diesel generators making the power to charge your car. Really kind of puts a damper on your idea that you are saving the planet.

It looks like politicians are completely out of touch with reality. However, this kind of thinking has been shown to be misguided at the least. We really need to start assuming that what they are doing is what they want done.

And it really looks like TPTshouldn'tB are doing all the can to quietly get rid of cars. Push people into mass transit. Keep people from moving all over, willy nilly.

This is probably part of their 15 minute city agenda. Get people used to not having their own car. Not having the freedom to go places. And then they will "happily" stay in their little cities open air prisons.

And there is probably something big coming, like Ford or GM shuts down, for good, in America.
This will be a big hit to what is left of manufacturing in America. GM has already moved a lot of their stuff to China. I can easily see their shutting down as the long term plan. However, i also see a lot of manufacturing trying to leave China as fast as possible. So, i really do not know what is actually going to come about.

Maybe GM will go, but a dozen new manufacturers will pop up?
Maybe the idea of locally produced in a 1000 garages will come about.

We shall see.
