Being in a relationship comes in various forms, purpose and ways, especially that relationship or friendship that is genuine and rewarding. Meaningful relationship must not only be that of boy/girl relationship or that of man/woman friendship but also of man 👨 to man, and woman to woman 👩🏻 . This must not be a romantic relationship, but the usual bond friendship of supporting one another and being there for ourselves in needs and times of emotional support because no man 👨 is an island 🏝.
Although I don’t like having too many friends at the same time but am the kind of person that gives it all my best when it comes to looking out for my friends because it’s important that anything we are doing in life should have a purpose, just like the business we do that we put our time into, the office work of 9:00 🕘 to 5:00 that we go to, relationship and friendship should also be a thing in our life that we consider very important. Being there for others.and others being there for is very heart ♥️ warning especially knowing that you can count on someone who is not a sibling, family but an outsider who is like a sister or brother.
In 2012 I met a lady through work, who is also into house letting and renting called Realtor. She was indeed a nice person that along work we became so close to that of more than colleagues but as family friends. We started supporting each others, although most times am the one that visits her because she already has a little office outlet in front of her house. We care for each other, attending weddings, church together, even our children always going to events like parties 🎉 together.

When it comes to financial support, we make sure to help each other out because as family women, sometimes things can be rough for the man, so the woman 👩🏻 has to support in anyway she could. There was a time the brother was very sick, a kind of mental health, which made him to start behaving abnormal, I stood by her in the hospital and even advised the family to take the her brother to the east part of Nigeria 🇳🇬 where they came from to treat him traditionally. And her brother did got healed
It now happened that when I lost my mother a year later and was so much in pains, but trying all I could to see to her burial, I stayed strong for my family too who continued to support me. And finally that year we fixed the burial of my mother in December, believing that time of the year is a good timing for everyone especially those who do not miss the festival Christmas 🎅🎄.
To my utmost surprise, my friend travelled to the east for Christmas 🎅🎄the same time I was to bury my mother. And promising me she will be coming to the burial and never cane. The most annoying part was that my friend never called me on this burial day to enquirer how am coping with the running around and others. Amazingly others I never expected called me with motivating and encouraging words. I could not believe it but it came and passed.
Not being the type of person that pretends, immediately I came back from my mothers burial I told her the piece of my mind. Then gradually, I withdraw from the relationship. Although she did apologized giving excuses of one problem after another, I already made up my mind. I don’t like forcing relationships because its not healthy for me. Genuine spirit is one who believes to treat others like themselves.
In conclusion, relationships are not to be forced. Be it the boy/girl, man/woman, and other types. We should always look 👀 out for genuineness of minds.
