I wish the fun could go on nonstop.

Hello, everyone.

I welcome you to my blog. Weekends are quite fun for a lot of us; we use the weekend to rest and have all the fun work, and other activities stop us from having them. For some, the weekend is for resting while they prepare for the new week; for others, it is for both resting and having all the fun in the world. Fun weekends differ from one individual to the next, but we all look forward to the weekend, and sometimes we wish it came faster and went slower.

A friend of mine said the weekend does not even last again, before you blink twice it's Monday 😂 and you are forced to get back to work ready or not. For me I don't joke with my weekends, I try to make sure I rest enough and have a little fun to help ease the stress from the previous week while my lost energy is replenished as I prepare to face the new week. Weekends are for resting, for catch-up with friends and family as work gives you little or no time to spend with family and friends within the week and this makes a lot of weekends memorable.

I have had quite a lot of memorable weekends, and I don't even know which one to share. That one weekend I wish the fun did not have to stop happened on the 17th of February, just a few days after Valentine's Day. The whole fun and memories started on Valentine's Day, which was a Wednesday, and lasted until Sunday. A friend was sick, and we went to get medications for him. We were chased by military men, both the friend who was sick and those who were healthy, had to run as fast as their legs could carry them. He was sick, but the 17th of February was his birthday. He needed to feel better before the big day.

He was planning a little hangout with friends but wouldn't be able to while on medication, so he needed to get better. He got better, and the weekend was lit. It was from one fun place to another. We attended a party that night with the theme of a drip in California. It was a funny theme, but the host and organizers made it worth it. They brought a lot of upcoming stars to perform, and they ceased their moments to show the world what they are made up of. The comedy shows made it even more memorable, and we laughed away our sorrows.

The party lasted till 3 a.m., and after that, we headed home. He made it known that he intends to go to church and wants us to go with him to thank God for his new age. We went with him, and after church, we had a little hangout again, and we were out till nightfall. On our way back home, we stopped by to get some grilled meat and a few drinks. The celebration went on from Saturday until late Sunday; we had enough fun and energy to face the new week. We entered the new week energetic and fully ready for what the week throws at us.
