Greetings! If you have been following the happenings in the community, you couldn't have missed the massive changes and upgrades in the last month. The Big Move happened and shook the community hard—in a good way, of course—and what we have been having ever since are a series of positive movements. Concept upon concept, vibe upon vibe, we bring yet again something exciting! Introducing...

𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝟡𝕛𝕒 𝕊𝕙𝕠𝕨

Naija is an informal variant of the term Nigeria, because Nigerians love to make things shorter and sweeter sometimes. And, being typically ourselves, we went further to twist "Naija" and rewrite it as "9ja." They are pronounced similarly.

The Nigerian experience is vast and diverse. Some of them are specific to individuals or groups of people, while others are general to the public. Whichever and however the case may be, the Nigerian life and way are special, and The 9ja Show aims at providing that platform for the Nigerian way, perspective, lifestyle, traditions, and many more to be shared and learned.

The event, basically, is another avenue to bring ourselves and our fellow countrymen together to connect on a whole different level than we do every day on the chain. It is an event where we host shows, obviously, hear our different and beautiful voices, discuss topics, and most importantly, have FUN together!

To facilitate this exciting event, we've already prepared the place for you. Our Discord channel has been undertaking a lot of renovations and developments to accommodate the interesting things we are doing and will be doing, like our very own 9ja Show. It'll take place on ᴛʜᴇ 𝟿ᴊᴀ sʜᴏᴡ channel on the Hive Naija Discord server. Click here to zzoOOM right there!

The 9ja Show will be held every second and fourth week of the month on Friyays! It'll be at the start of the weekend, when we'd likely want to unwind from the "exhilarating" week's work, at 8 p.m. Nigerian time (7 p.m. UTC).

We have the event now, as well as the place and time, but it'll be nothing without YOU! Anyone is welcome; you are welcome to join us to shine a light on the Nigerian way on the Hive blockchain!
