He visto en las noticias que ha fallecido por complicaciones con covid-19 el promotor de las protestas anti-mascarillas, también hace meses murió por la misma causa, otra persona que promovía el no vacunarse por aquello de las teorías conspirativas, otro famoso cantante español se oponía a ambas cosas y meses después decía que usarán las mascarillas, algunos presidentes se refirieron al covid como una gripecita y luego tuvieron que vivir en carne propia las consecuencias del virus.
Ya va a cumplirse un año y medio desde que la OMS declaró la pandemia mundial por Covid-19, y situaciones como las comentadas en el párrafo anterior, son más comunes de lo que quisiéramos escuchar los seres pensantes de este mundo, lo cierto es que millones murieron a causa de ello, y siguen muriendo. Esta pandemia no distingue si es un país potencia mundial,o del primer mundo o del tercero, nada.
Las recomendaciones más sensatas ante una pandemia se dieron desde el principio: uso de mascarillas, lavado frecuente de manos, distanciamiento entre personas que no viven en la misma casa, y aislamiento en caso de contagio, en una sola palabra CUARENTENA.
Ya desde tiempos bíblicos al pueblo de Israel se le dieron una serie de normas sanitarias que los protegía del exterminio como nación por causas de enfermedades, en este caso la obediencia a dichas normas era lo que los protegía; parece que hoy ante esta pandemia y otras más que han surgido cobran valor científico estás simples directrices sanitarias.
Pero como dice el título de mi publicación la estupidez humana no tiene límites. Soy de las personas que respeta el derecho a la vida, la propia y la de los demás, pero también respeto el derecho que tienen los demás a pensar libremente y hacer uso de sus libertades como mejor les parezca, lo único que siempre pido es que se respete en cambio mis derechos.
Durante dos años no visite a mi padre que tiene 84 años y está en silla de ruedas debido a un ACV o ECV (enfermedad cerebro-vascular), hace un mes atrás recibió la segunda dosis de la vacuna y yo recibí la primera dosis, gracias a esto tome la decisión de por fin traerlo a casa conmigo.
En casa hemos respetado las medidas de bioseguridad al pie de la letra, no hacemos visitas sociales y no recibo visitas en casa, algunas personas no respetan estas normas y no es que no las entiendan, es que simplemente han decidido asumir sus riesgos, y he tenido que escuchar expresiones como, -bueno en algún momento me tiene que dar.
Ningún ser viviente está exento de que está u otra enfermedad nos alcance, pero que no sea por negligentes ni por estupidez.
Ya no hay tantas alarmas, pero es por qué la novedad pasó, aún el virus está afuera y adentro, cambiando de formas y fortalecido, ahora nos dicen que las vacunas tienen una efectividad de seis a ocho meses, bueno, al final de todo lo que seguirá teniendo efectividad será respetar las medidas sanitarias aunque parezcan un fastidio.
Lamento todas las muertes, y en especial las de que aquellos que estuvieron en el frente de batalla, en hospitales, todo el personal de salud por no discriminar a ninguno y que trabajaron con las manos y a veces sin ninguna protección, y la de aquellos que no pudieron recibir atención médica por falta de recursos o por congestionamiento de las salas de cuidados intensivos.
Mi hija tiene Covid, parece que hasta ahora es con síntomas leves, no vivimos juntas y lamento no poder ayudarla como quisiera, ella hizo una publicación donde expone sus miedos y de donde tome el título para mi publicación, actualmente está aislada en su propia casa con su bebé, y espero que salga pronto de esto. Trato de mantener la calma y paz mental para no entrar en pánico y además de seguir medidas prácticas le pido a Dios Todopoderoso que nos ayude.
No sabemos cómo lo contrajo, el niño se moviliza entre la casa de su papá y la de ella, y sale lo indispensable para comprar lo necesario, así que es difícil determinar cómo ocurrió.
Soy optimista, y he aprendido a vivir un día a la vez, he cultivado la paciencia como cualidad que permite ser razonable y no actuar precipitadamente.
