You can even start by reducing your expenses and saving from your allowance, at least to have some money. Talk to a friend about sharing a room. Find a part-time or online job that allows you to think about the next step.
I'm one of those who believe that if you don't like something, you should do what you can to get out of it, and by that I include even relationships with parents.
I get along better with my mother now, since I live away from her. And although I miss her, I consider that if we were close it would not be the same.
