Hace 15 días enfermó mi padre, asumió que era una gripe común, pero días después a mi madre le da fiebre, no podía respirar, se sentía tan cansada que decía que no lograría llegar al hospital. Luego fui yo que al amanecer amanecí con fiebre, cansada y malestar. Al siguiente día, sábado, no fuimos a la Cruz Roja para que nos hicieran la prueba del COVID y resulta que no estaban trabajando; de paso, en la vía, al carro le dio por acompañarnos en la tragedia y se averió y cómo no podíamos andar así regresamos a casa.
Ese mismo sábado decidimos caminar al hospital, sin mamá, quien no podía caminar. Papá y yo nos fuimos poco a poco hasta el hospital, a buscar quien nos atendiera, pero fue imposible porque había que sacarle copia a unas planillas, depositar algo en una cuenta, total que no pudimos ser atendidos y volvimos a casa, a terminar de pasar el fin de semana en las manos de Dios.
Amanecimos con los mismos síntomas el día lunes y gracias a Dios por la noche mi madre contactó a un ser humana maravilloso, una doctora que se llegó hasta la casa, nos diagnosticó y nos refirió los exámenes que debía hacerse cada uno, incluyendo a mi hijo.
Fifteen days ago my father got sick, he assumed it was a common flu, but days later my mother got a fever, she could not breathe, she felt so tired that she said she would not make it to the hospital. Then it was me who woke up at dawn with fever, tired and sick. The next day, Saturday, we did not go to the Red Cross to get the COVID test and it turned out that they were not working; by the way, on the road, the car was to accompany us in the tragedy and broke down and as we could not walk like that we returned home.
That same Saturday we decided to walk to the hospital, without Mom, who could not walk. Dad and I went little by little to the hospital, to look for someone to take care of us, but it was impossible because we had to make a copy of some forms, deposit something in an account, so we could not be treated and we returned home, to finish spending the weekend in God's hands.
We woke up with the same symptoms on Monday and thank God that night my mother contacted a wonderful human being, a doctor who came to the house, diagnosed us and referred us to the tests that each one of us had to undergo, including my son.
En la mañana del martes nos hicieron los exámenes. Mi padre salió con en neumonía, mi hijo con apenas flema, y mi madre y yo fuimos las que salimos con más valores alterados aparte de la flema y la tos. Hasta ahora el único que ha perdido el olfato y gusto ha sido mi padre.
Ya estamos en tratamiento, aparte del que nos indicó la doctora, todas las mañanas nos damos baños de sol para ayudar al organismo, Inhalamos solución de eucalipto, bebemos té y rogamos a Dios para que no nos falte la fuerza.
Vivir con el Covid-19 no es fácil, menos cuando los seres más queridos, tus padres y tu hijo, andan con la misma situación. A Dios gracias a mi hermano y a mi esposo no lo ha afectado porque son asintomáticos y son quienes nos están atendiendo.

Living with Covid-19 is not easy, especially when your loved ones, your parents and your child, are in the same situation. Thank God my brother and my husband have not been affected because they are asymptomatic and they are the ones who are taking care of us.
Enfermarse de COVID es algo que no podemos evitar del todo porque el virus anda en la calle y hay que salir a trabajar, soy docente y debo atender el llamado para cumplir con mi responsabilidad. Igual por alguna u otra razón todos tenemos que salir aunque sea un rato por alguna diligencia y tristemente puedes regresar con la infección a casa.
Solo nos toque pedirles a todos que nos sigamos cuidando, y a Dios que nos dé voluntad y fe para aceptar sus designios. En él confiamos.
Getting sick with COVID is something we can't completely avoid because the virus is in the streets and we have to go out to work, I am a teacher and I have to answer the call to fulfill my responsibility. For one reason or another we all have to go out at least for a while for some errand and sadly you can return home with the infection.
