Hola Hivers el día de hoy quiero contarles mi pequeña travesía buscando trabajo en la ciudad de México, si no lo saben estudie la carrera de Ingeniería Biomédica en grandes rasgos puedo decirles que nuestro trabajo esta relacionado con la solución de problemas de carácter hospitalario en general.
Hi Hivers, today I want to tell you about my little journey looking for a job in Mexico City. If you don't know, I studied Biomedical Engineering. In general, I can tell you that our work is related to solving hospital problems in general.
Yo ya tiene un tiempo que salí de la carrera y hasta hace poco pude conseguir mi titulo y cedula profesional que me acreditan como profesionista dentro de México, sin estos documentos me había sido difícil poder conseguir alguna entrevista de trabajo durante estos años añadiendo el hecho de que ya paso de los 30 años y solo cuento con un año de experiencia gracias a mis practicas profesionales de la escuela.
I've been out of college for some time now and until recently I was able to get my degree and professional license that accredit me as a professional within Mexico, without these documents it had been difficult for me to get a job interview during these years adding the fact that I'm over 30 years old and I only have one year of experience thanks to my professional practices at the school.
Cuando inicio la pandemia quise esperar un poco también para mandar mi CV a lugares como hospitales porque no quería verme tan directamente envuelto en la situación del Covid, pues mi mayor temor de esta enfermedad no es contagiarme si no el poder contagiar a mis seres amados, para mi mi familia y seres queridos son lo mas importante que tengo, por esto estuve enviando solicitudes de empleo a empresas de equipo medico y también trate de entrar a realizar una maestría para que se me pagara por estudiar mientras.
When the pandemic started, I also wanted to wait a bit to send my CV to places like hospitals because I didn't want to be so directly involved in the Covid situation, because my greatest fear of this disease is not getting it, but being able to infect my loved ones. For me, my family and loved ones are the most important thing I have, that's why I was sending job applications to medical equipment companies and I also tried to get a master's degree so that I could be paid to study while.
Bueno bien dicen que si quieres hacer reír a Dios cuéntale tus planes , durante estos dos años de pandemia no había conseguido ninguna respuesta a todas las vacantes a las que aplique y con la maestría me faltaron conocimientos en el ámbito de la Bioquímica y Microbiología para lograr quedar en la maestría, ni modo a veces no se puede conseguir todo lo que uno se planea lo importante es no rendirse.
Well they say that if you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans, during these two years of pandemic I had not gotten any answers to all the vacancies I applied for and with the master's degree I lacked knowledge in the field of Biochemistry and Microbiology to achieve stay in the mastery, no way sometimes you can't get everything you plan the important thing is not to give up.
Y como dije en un principio hace poco conseguí esos papeles que me certifican ya como profesionista además que tanto yo como mi familia ya contamos con dos vacunas puestas contra el Covid y estamos buscando ponernos el nuevo refuerzo también he llegado a la conclusión que para esta enfermedad tardaremos aun bastante para sobreponernos a ella ya sea con mejores vacunas o tratamientos efectivos para combatirla.
And as I said at the beginning, recently I got those papers that now certify me as a professional, in addition to the fact that both I and my family already have two vaccines against Covid and we are looking to get the new booster, I have also come to the conclusion that for this disease it will take us a long time to overcome it, either with better vaccines or effective treatments to combat it.
Por lo cual decidí empezar a enviar solicitudes a hospitales y demás empresas con mi CV actualizado y hace una semana recibí la notificación de una entrevista para un hospital, en estos momentos yo vivo a casi 3 horas del la ciudad de México así que tuve que moverme con un día de anticipación para presentarme a la fecha acordada para la cita, me fui lo mas protegido que pude pues aqui estamos viviendo la cuarta ola y con la nueva variante que esta rompiendo récord de contagios dentro de México.
So I decided to start sending applications to hospitals and other companies with my updated CV and a week ago I received notification of an interview for a hospital, right now I live almost 3 hours from Mexico City so I had to move One day in advance to present myself on the agreed date for the appointment, I left as protected as I could because here we are experiencing the fourth wave and with the new variant that is breaking the record of infections within Mexico.

Yo llegue a la ciudad con doble mascarilla una siendo plisada termo sellada y la otra un KN95 y mis gafas de protección para evitar lo mas posible las partículas lleguen a mis ojos o por lo menos bajar la probabilidad, la ciudad como siempre es un caos esta atestada de personas y sobre todo el metro es un lugar que casi siempre va lleno, quise tomar fotos a las personas que iban sin mascarilla o que iban comiendo pero la verdad prefiero ahórrame problemas pues la gente en la ciudad tiende a tomarse mas a pecho las cosas, así que para que se dieran de una idea las imágenes que verán son tomadas de otras fuentes.

Viajar en metro en tiempos de pandemia en lo personal me genera bastante ansiedad e incomodidad pues a mucha gente no le importa el uso correcto de mascarillas y muchísima gente va enferma en el transporte, me toco ver a personas que tosían como si se les fuera a salir los pulmones y posteriormente quitarse la mascarilla par escupir de la forma mas asquerosa e irresponsable posible.
Traveling by subway in times of pandemic personally generates a lot of anxiety and discomfort for me because many people do not care about the correct use of masks and many people are sick on transport, I have seen people who coughed as if they were going to get out the lungs and then take off the mask to spit in the most disgusting and irresponsible way possible.
Con respecto a mi entrevista creo que me fue bastante bien ya que ya pase el segundo filtro dentro de la seleccion espero poder presentarme en estos dias la entrevista directa que seria con el que podía ser mi jefe, espero poder hacerlo bien para quedarme con el trabajo pues las actividades para las que me solicitan las se realizar y me parece que tanto el sueldo como las prestaciones y el horario están bien para evitar las horas mas concurridas del metro.
With regard to my interview, I think it went quite well for me since I already passed the second filter within the selection, I hope to be able to present myself in these days the direct interview that would be with the person who could be my boss, I hope I can do well to stay with the job Well, the activities for which they ask me to be carried out and it seems to me that both the salary and the benefits and the schedule are good to avoid the busiest hours of the subway.
