Hola a todos los integrantes de la comunidad,mi nombre es Raciel, soy de Bauta un pueblo de la Provincia Artemisa, Cuba, por lo que soy bautense de corazón. Supe sobre Hive por @havandris.
Desde muy niño era timido e introvertido, mis padres me llevaban a la playa cercana al pueblo (Playa Baracoa) desde que tenia 2 o 3 años, no era la playa mas bonita de Cuba pero a mi me encantaba, desde que llegaba me metia en el mar durante horas y horas y jugaba con la arena. También me encantaba la televisión me pasaba el día frente a él.
Luego comencé la secundaria y me integre a un grupo que habia que se llamaba "Mapa Verde" en el cual se hacian diferentes actividades con el objetivo de la protección del medio ambiente, una de ellas fue la limpieza de la playa a la que mis padres me llevaban, haciamos exposiciones de ciencias y del cuidado del medio ambiente, visitábamos museos e ibamos a campimos a realizar actividades ecológicas, fue una etapa de mi niñez y adolescencia muy linda que disfruté muchísimo.
Después comencé en el preuniversitario y mi profesor de geografía pertenecía a un grupo de arqueología y él tomo la decisión de hacer un pequeño grupo de estudiantes que tenian interés en este tema, y yo como era monitor de geografia me adentré en ese mundo que me llamaba la atención, fuimos a distintos museos de arqueología en La Habana capital de Cuba, visitamos distintas cuevas de los alrededores de mi pueblo, realizamos una vez un viaje a la Montaña del Pan de Guajaibón, uno de los puntos más altos después del Pico Turquino, donde dormimos en una cueva, la cual exploramos por dentro y nos bañamos en un río, al día siguiente nos fuimos a escalar la montaña, fue una experiencia única y encantadora. La vista desde la cima de la montaña era todo un espectáculo y de diferentes sensaciones mezcladas con la adrenalina del momento.
Luego descrubi mi interés por ayudar a las personas y decidí estudiar medicina, la cual estudié por 6 años, y gracias a mi familia que siempre me han apoyado en cada paso, hoy puedo decir que soy médico. Me gradué en el año 2021 cuando aún estaba la Pandemia del Covid, fue un duro comienzo en mi vida como profesional y para todos los sobrevivientes de esta pandemia. Seguidamente comencé a trabajar en un consultorio donde atendía a embarazadas, lactantes y personas de todas las edades, sentía tanta satisfacción de ver salir a mis pacientes con una sonrisa y satisfechos, a pesar de no tener muchas veces los recursos para trabajar, o como aliviarlos o el medicamento necesario para curarlo.
Me considero un muchacho tranquilo, con muchos sueños y metas que quiero cumplir, amante de la naturaleza, de la fotografía, del mar, de los fenómenos naturales de nuestro planeta, me encanta viajar y explorar diferentes lugares. Actualmente me encuentro en Curitiba una hermosa ciudad capital del estado de Paraná, Brasil. Les estare compartiendo publicaciones de mi dia a dia, muchas gracias a todos los que me leen. Hello to all the members of the community, my name is Raciel, I am from Bauta, a town in the Artemisa Province, Cuba, so I am a Bautense at heart. I found out about Hive through @havandris.
Since I was a child I was shy and introverted, my parents took me to the beach near the town (Playa Baracoa) since I was 2 or 3 years old, it was not the most beautiful beach in Cuba but I loved it, Since I arrived I would go into the sea for hours and hours and play in the sand. I also loved television and spent the whole day in front of it.
Then I started high school and joined a group called "Green Map" in which different activities were carried out with the objective of protecting the environment, one of them was cleaning the beach where my parents took me, We did exhibitions about science and environmental care, we visited museums and went camping to do ecological activities. It was a very nice stage of my childhood and adolescence that I enjoyed very much.
Then I started in high school and my geography teacher belonged to an archaeology group and he made the decision to make a small group of students who were interested in this subject, And I, who was a geography instructor, entered into that world that caught my attention so much. We went to different archaeology museums in Havana, the capital of Cuba. We visited different caves around my town, we once made a trip to the Pan de Guajaibón Mountain, one of the highest points after Pico Turquino, where we slept in a cave, which we explored inside and bathed in a river, the next day we went to climb the mountain, It was a unique and charming experience. The view from the top of the mountain was quite a spectacle and gave off different sensations mixed with the adrenaline of the moment.
Then I discovered my interest in helping people and decided to study medicine,Which I studied for 6 years, and thanks to my family who have always supported me today I can say that I am a doctor. I graduated in 2021 when the COVID Pandemic was still going on, it was a tough start to my life as a professional and for all the survivors of this pandemic. I then started working in a clinic with pregnant women, nursing mothers and people of all ages, I felt so satisfied seeing my patients leave with a smile and satisfied, despite not having many times the resources to work, or to relieve them or the necessary medication to cure them.
I consider myself a quiet boy, with many dreams and goals that I wants to fulfill, a lover of nature, photography, the sea, the natural phenomena of our planet, I love traveling and exploring different places. I am currently in Curitiba, a beautiful capital city of the state of Paraná, Brazil. I will be sharing posts from my day to day life with you. Many thanks to all of you who read me.
