Holii, hace poco pasé unos días con mi papá y la pasé excelente; mi papá y yo somos muy parecidos en muchos aspectos, aparte del físico que es mucho más que evidente, nuestros gustos en comida, cine y música son muy muy parecidos.
Como todo, tenemos nuestros desacuerdos, más que todo por el tema generacional; hay música que a él le gusta mucho y yo ni paso, como viceversa. Hoy quiero hablarles de mis artistas favoritos, tanto solistas como bandas.

Like everything, we have our disagreements, mostly because of the generational issue; there is music that he likes a lot and I don't even pass, and vice versa. Today I want to talk to you about my favorite artists, both solo artists and bands.
Desde muy chiquita, he vivido rodeada de música debido a que en mi familia es muy común la melomanía, gracias a esto tengo un repertorio musical bastante extenso y se puede decir que escucho de todo un poco; pero como todo, siempre existen las preferencias y la mía siempre ha sido el rock, el rock-pop o el pop netamente. Cada miembro de mi familia tiene un gusto musical totalmente distinto al otro y esto me ha brindado mi gran amor por la música
Por parte de mi papá, creí escuchando a AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Rolling Stones, Nirvana, Kiss, Maná, Soda Stereo y entre otras muchas bandas; pero la más importante de todas siempre ha sido y será Queen, en definitiva es la banda de la familia España, mi papá tiene todos sus discos tanto en físico como en digital, pudo asistir al último concierto que dieron acá en Venezuela y aún conserva la entrada. Crecer con un soundtrack de Queen es muy épico.

On my dad's side, I grew up listening to AC/DC, Guns N' Roses, Rolling Stones, Nirvana, Kiss, Maná, Soda Stereo and many other bands; but the most important of all has always been and will always be Queen, definitely the band of the España family, my dad has all their albums both physical and digital, he was able to attend the last concert they gave here in Venezuela and he still has the ticket. Growing up with a Queen soundtrack is very epic.
De parte de mi mamá, ella siempre ha sido muy romántica, así que gracias a ella me sé muchas canciones de Guillermo Dávila, Franco de Vita, Ricardo Montaner, Karina, Cristian Castro, entre muchos otros; pero, el más importante de todos, el padre de todo ser humano nacido desde los años 90 para acá, Chayanne.
En mi casa nunca podía faltar un disco de Chayanne, es el amor platónico de mi mamá como el de muchas madres hispanas alrededor del mundo. Pónganme CUALQUIER canción de Chayanne y te la voy a cantar completamente.

De parte de mi hermana, viene el reggae, sinceramente aquí puedo no concordar mucho porque este estilo de música no es muy lo mío, me gusta y lo escucho, pero llega un punto en que me canso y cambio de estilo. Ella, en su adolescencia, escuchaba mucho al gran Bob Marley, como también bandas como Cultura Profética, Los Cafres, etc...
Sin embargo, en la actualidad compartimos mucho más el gusto musical, con músicos como Los Mesoneros, Lagos, Twenty One Pilots, Lasso, Anakena, entre otros.
Aunque debo admitir que, aunque nos gusten las mismas bandas, nuestra conexión fuerte es con Twenty One Pilots; descubrir que mi hermana es tan fan de ellos como yo fue algo que nos ha unido muchísimo y pudimos disfrutar juntas el lanzamiento de su más reciente disco y fue ¡épico!
On my sister's side, comes reggae, honestly here I can' t agree much because this style of music isn't really my thing, I like it and I listen to it, but there comes a point when I get tired of it and I change style. Después llegó la era de Youtube y era mucho más fácil el acceso a la música, en 2008 conocí a Lady Gaga y de inmediato me hice fan de ella, su música, sus ritmos, sus vestuarios, su personalidad, todo, todo me encantaba y ella a mí me encanta, no será la mujer más bella del mundo para todos pero para mí es la mujer más hermosa que existe, tanto por como es por su físico. Gracias a ella, el camino de conocer, entender y aceptar mi sexualidad ha sido mucho más sencillo y rápido.
Tengo todos sus discos, me sé todas sus canciones, incluyendo las que no publicó oficialmente, me he visto todas sus películas, series y demás, amo cada faceta de ella, cada era de ella; pero sin dudas, mis eras favoritas son y serán ARTPOP y Joanne debido que fueron las eras con las que más empaticé y las que más me ayudaron a sobrellevar momentos difíciles.

Toda la vida he sido ultra fan de Disney y recuerdo que en el 2010 salió Cars 2, la publicidad era una canción llamada Autos Moda y Rock N' Roll de una banda mexicana de rock-pop llamada Moderatto; quedé flechada, tanto por Bryan Amadeus (su nombre artístico) o Jay de la Cueva (su nombre real), que es su cantante y como por lo genial que era su música.
Desde ese día soy súper fan de ellos, en algún punto llegué a denominarlos mi placer culposo debido a que su estilo es muy "ridículo" y me criticaban mucho, pero luego acepté que son mis gustos y no tengo por qué sentir vergüenza por ello.
Aquí también pueden ponerme cualquier canción y se las voy a cantar hasta sin escuchar la música, son uno de los pilares que han formado de mi personalidad de hoy en día.

Para esas mismas fechas, nació otra de las bandas que me ha marcado mucho en mi vida, One Direction; como cualquier pre-adolescente o adolescente de esa época, me volvía loca por ellos (todavía de hecho), mi mejor amiga y yo somos Directioners, nos reuníamos solo para ver los estrenos de los vídeos musicales, hacíamos pijamadas para escuchar sus canciones.
El día que anunciaron su separación fue horrible, caí en un hueco depresivo muy grande y sé que puede ser muy exagerado, pero es como una ruptura amorosa; estás perdiendo algo que te hacía feliz y que te ha ayudado en tus momentos más duros.
Actualmente, solo sigo a Harry Styles debido a que el estilo de música que ha tomado cada uno no es muy el mío.

En 2011 conocí a Black Veil Brides, creo que ha sido la banda más oscura y pesada que ha existido en mi repertorio musical, no soy muy fan del heavy metal pero sí puedo disfrutar escucharlo.
Esta banda oscila entre el heavy metal, screamo, indie rock, rock alternativo y metalcore, la conocí de casualidad, una amiga estaba escuchando una canción que me gustó pero al preguntarle, no sabía de quién era, después de muchos años fue que pude descubrir de quienes se trataban.

This band oscillates between heavy metal, screamo, indie rock, alternative rock and metalcore, I met them by chance, a friend was listening to a song that I liked but when I asked her, she didn't know who it was, after many years I was able to discover who they were.
En 2017, conocí al gran amor de mi vida, quién fue uno de los últimos en contribuir a la formación de mi personalidad, es uno de los que más desentona entre todos pero que puede ir de la mano con Black Veil Brides; estoy hablando de nada más y nada menos que el gran Marilyn Manson.
Lo conocí de una manera nada convencional, estaba teniendo relaciones con un amigo con quien salía en ese momento y teníamos música en aleatorio de fondo, de pronto sonó Kill4Me y literalmente paré todo para ver de quién era esa canción porque era increíble. Desde ese preciso instante me empapé de la música de Manson, busqué cada disco, cada canción, cada vídeo; cosa que no fue nada fácil debido a su gran trayectoria musical pero, valió la pena.
Actualmente sigue siendo uno de mis favoritos, de hecho, está en mi Top 3.

Nowadays he is still one of my favorites, in fact, he is in my Top 3.
Y para cerrar, tenemos al que realmente desentona, con todo lo que han leído no van a entender cómo él puede ser uno de mis favoritos si su género no concuerda con absolutamente nada de lo que he hablado y se trata de Bad Bunny.
El reggaetón ha sido parte de mi vida desde siempre debido a que eso es lo que se escucha en todos lados, pero era eso, parte de la cotidianidad más no un gusto que yo formara o eligiera; cuando Bad Bunny se dio a conocer no era muy de mi agrado, el trap no es algo que me guste tanto, sin embargo lo escuchaba, poco pero lo escuchaba.
Cuando sacó su primer disco, X100pre, se dio a conocer una faceta nueva de él que a mí me encantó, el sonido era distinto pero a la vez conservaba esa base de trap, sus canciones eran variadas y demasiado pegajosas.
Luego vino uno de los mejores discos de Bad Bunny, YHLQMDLG (Yo Hago Lo Que Me Da La Gana), este disco era una mezcla de sonidos del reggaetón viejo, con sonidos modernos, trap, sintetizador, en pocas palabras una locura que sonaba genial.
El último disco, sin dudas para mí, es el mejor disco que ha sacado Bad Bunny, la mezcla de sonidos, las colaboraciones, los vídeos, todo, todo me encanta.
El Último Tour del Mundo salió en el momento justo con las canciones precisas, no todos simpatizan con Bad Bunny pero para gustos y colores... Por eso hay tanta variedad de géneros y estilos, para que cada quien consuma lo que le guste, los gustos de cada quien no deben ser juzgados por nadie; siempre y cuando sean sanos y no perjudiquen a los demás.

Then came one of Bad Bunny's best albums, YHLQMDLG (Yo Hago Lo Que Me Da La Gana), this album was a mix of old reggaeton sounds, with modern sounds, trap, synthesizer, in a few words a crazy sounding great.
The last album, without a doubt for me, is the best album that Bad Bunny has released, the mix of sounds, the collaborations, the videos, everything, everything I love.
El Último Tour del Mundo came out at the right time with the right songs, not everyone sympathizes with Bad Bunny but for tastes and colors? That's why there is such a variety of genres and styles, so that everyone can consume what they like, the tastes of each person should not be judged by anyone, as long as they are healthy and do not harm others.
