Siguiendo el hilo de contarte los acontecimientos de lo que va de mes, hoy quiero echarte el cuento de cómo fue colaborar en Hive Desde Cero con @soy-laloreto.

Following the thread of telling you about the happenings so far this month, today I want to give you the tale of what it was like to collaborate on Hive Desde Cero with @soy-laloreto.
Resulta que por allá cerca del 19 de noviembre, salió la invitación para el comienzo de las clases. Ese mismo día, obtuve el rol de “moderadora” en su grupo de Discord. El regreso al aula digital se pautó para el 28 de noviembre y el tema de ese día fue una “Introducción a Hive”.
Para no tener que mencionarte días tras día la agenda, te dejaré por acá la publicación que realizó @soy-laloreto donde sale todo detallado para que entiendas el contexto.
Las clases las dieron de lunes a viernes a las 8pm hora Venezuela, y ahora que estuve del otro lado, sé que hay mucho por hacer más allá de la explicación que da cada uno de los participantes desde su experiencia. Ahí entró un poco lo de “moderar”, porque (acá te contaré como YO lo viví) en el momento que te estoy escribiendo, hay 409 miembros en ese grupo de Telegram pero aquel día de noviembre cuando comenzábamos, apenas estaba por llegar a los 300.
En esa primera clase, entraron al voice chat aproximadamente 130 personas. La mayoría interesadas en tener un primer contacto con #Hive. Puede que no todos pero unos cuantos llegaron, porque se había hecho un trabajo previo con todos los eventos que se llevaron a cabo como la charla en la Universidad Simón Rodriguez ( @zullyscott y @filoriologo ) , la ExpoZulia (@fermionico , @arlettemsalase, @soy-laloreto e @ilazramusic) o quienes quedaron atentos de la CBW.
Antes de continuar, les agradezco a cada #HiveBuilder todo el trabajo que han realizado para llevar a la Blockchain más allá de la pantalla, por motivar a otras personas a aprender al respecto y por insistirles en hacerlo de la forma “correcta”.
Retomemos lo de las clases. Para resumir: ahí había un gentío. Eso impresiona un poco. Sé que @soy-laloreto, tiene muchos años trabajando en función de que aprendamos buenos hábitos para hacer vida en #Hive. De hecho, yo comencé acá con sus clases pero en primera instancia al ver esos números fue como: “ Okay , esto va a estar interesante ”😜.
It turns out that around November 19, the invitation for the start of classes went out. That same day, I got the role of "moderator" in their Discord group. The return to the digital classroom was scheduled for November 28 and the topic that day was an "Introduction to Hive".
In order not to have to mention the agenda day after day, I will leave here the publication made by @soy-laloreto where everything is detailed for you to understand the context.
The classes were held Monday through Friday at 8pm Venezuela time, and now that I was on the other side, I know that there is much to do beyond the explanation given by each of the participants from their experience. That's where "moderating" came in, because (here I will tell you how I experienced it) at the moment I am writing this, there are 409 members in that Telegram group, but that day in November when we started, I was just about to reach 300.
In that first class, approximately 130 people joined the voice chat. Most of them interested in having a first contact with #Hive. Maybe not all but a few came, because a previous work had been done with all the events that took place as the talk at the Universidad Simón Rodriguez ( @zullyscott and @filoriologo ) , the ExpoZulia (@fermionico , @arlettemsalase, @soy-laloreto and @ilazramusic) or those who were attentive to the CBW.
Before I continue, I thank each #HiveBuilder for all the work they have done to take Blockchain beyond the screen, for motivating others to learn about it and for insisting them to do it the "right" way.
Let's go back to the classes. Long story short: there was a crowd there. That's a bit impressive. I know that @soy-laloreto, has been working for many years to help us learn good habits for #Hive living. In fact, I started here with his classes but at first glance when I saw those numbers I was like: " Okay, this is going to be interesting"😜
Las clases transcurrieron bastante bien, la afluencia de los miembros fue variando en cada uno de los días y se sentían bastantes participativos o curiosos. En las primeras clases, se percibió mucho que lo nuevos miembros sienten que es mucha información por asimilar, que no lo van a entender o que puede ser muy complicado.
Intentamos apoyarles, diciéndoles que todos hemos atravesado esa curva de aprendizaje y me encantó que esos comentarios, que uno a veces considera que no llegan tan lejos, si colaboran en que se animen un poco más, o por lo menos persistan en la idea de que siempre podemos aprender, o incluso, que no estamos llegando tarde a la tecnología y que tienen la oportunidad de apoderarse del conocimiento, con todas las herramientas y personas que quieren colaborar para hacerles el camino más sencillo.
Desde mi aporte, procuré no responder preguntas técnicas, o si sabía cuál de los coach podía esclarecer esa duda, iba y le preguntaba si podía echarnos una mano con eso. Ahora bien, poder interactuar un poco más con algunos de los coach de esas clases estuvo genial. A algunos los he leído en #Hive o en Twitter, pero no había tenido ninguna razón para escribirles por privado.
El estar colaborando ahí, me permitió por lo menos ponerme a la orden si necesitaban ayuda con alguna cosilla para su clase. Recuerdo con simpatía algo que para mí fue un chiste y espero que para @elizabeths14 también. Antes de su clase, le escribí diciéndole que estaba a la orden por si necesitaba que le cuidaran los niños o le voltearan las tajadas.
Veamos, ella está muy lejos, pero sentí que era alguien a quien le podía lanzar un chiste antes de su clase, y la verdad es que funcionó, porque rompimos un poco el hielo y me mencionó que iba a necesitar apoyo con unas imágenes. La dinámica iba a ser que mientras ella iba hablando, yo enviaba sus diapositivas al chat. ¿Se dio bien? Sí, pero hubo cierto delay porque ajá, uno está desde el celular, y el internet o los datos en algún momento podían no colaborar, o algo por el estilo.
The classes went quite well, the affluence of the members was varying in each of the days and they were quite participative or curious. In the first classes, it was very noticeable that the new members feel that there is a lot of information to assimilate, that they are not going to understand it or that it can be very complicated.
We tried to support them, telling them that we have all gone through that learning curve and I was delighted that those comments, which one sometimes considers that they do not go that far, do help to encourage them a little more, or at least persist in the idea that we can always learn, or even, that we are not arriving late to technology and that they have the opportunity to take hold of knowledge, with all the tools and people who want to collaborate to make the path easier for them.
From my contribution, I tried not to answer technical questions, or if I knew which of the coaches could clarify that doubt, I would go and ask him if he could give us a hand with that. Now, being able to interact a bit more with some of the coaches from those classes was great. Some of them I've read on #Hive or on Twitter, but I hadn't had any reason to write to them privately.
Being collaborating there allowed me to at least put myself out there if they needed help with a little something for their class. I remember with sympathy something that was a joke to me and @elizabeths14 as well. Before her class, I wrote to her telling her that I was on call if she needed babysitting or flipping slices.
Let's see, she's a long way away, but I felt she was someone I could throw a joke at before her class, and it actually worked, because we broke the ice a bit and she mentioned to me that she was going to need some support with some pictures. The dynamic was going to be that while she was talking, I would send her slides to the chat. Did it go well? Yes, but there was a certain delay because aha, you are on your cell phone, and the internet or data at some point could not collaborate, or something like that.
Me gustó mucho que había cabida al error, a la corrección, y no sentí que estuviera trabajando “para alguien” sino “con alguien”. Si tenía alguna propuesta, por pequeña que fuera, le podía escribir a Lalo preguntándole si hacíamos esto o hacíamos aquello. Eso lo disfruté muchísimo.
Si me vas leyendo con el cronograma de las clases por ahí en la mira, te diré que esa clase de @jonsnow1983 se dio unos cuantos días después de la planificación. Puedes mantener la calma, salió todo bien, pero el señor de las nieves primero tenía cierto malestar y merecía reposo. Luego, estuvo cumpliendo algunos compromisos relacionados a #Hive. Su clase, finalmente se dio, y por lo que supe, ya que ese día no pude asistir a las clases, valió la pena la espera.
Llegaron las clases sobre seguridad de @Gorayii, y éstas junto a las clases de @jauregui98 donde dio consejos para mejorar la escritura, tenían un sticker de “Nueva Adquisición” que amé. Ambos buscaron la forma más pedagógica para comunicar lo que querían transmitir y siento que lo lograron. De sus clases salimos listos para aplicar varias de sus recomendaciones.
Luego vinieron las reglas no escritas de #Hive de la mano de @victoriabsb, quien en un comienzo me comentó que procuraría hacerla “corta”. (Victoria, si pasas por acá, duró el tiempo justo)😆. Algo que me gustaría resaltar antes de que pierda la idea, es que cada uno de los coach tiene un background que respalda la información que están aportando.
En el caso de Victoria, es abogada, y ciertamente está genial que alguien que sepa de legislación te hable de “reglas”, pero también hay otros a quienes lo que les ha otorgado ese respaldo es nada más y nada menos que la práctica. Quizá pienses: “Gaby, hasta acá íbamos bien” pero es cierto, algo que aprendí en esos días donde todos recibimos clases es que hay que practicar, practicar y seguir practicando.
Tip del momento: La creatividad, llega haciendo.
I really liked that there was room for error, for correction, and I didn't feel that I was working "for someone" but "with someone". If I had any proposal, no matter how small, I could write to Lalo asking him if we could do this or that. I enjoyed that very much.
If you're reading me with the class schedule out there, I'll tell you that @jonsnow1983's class was a few days after the planning. You can keep calm, it went well, but the snow lord first had some discomfort and deserved rest. Then, he was fulfilling some #Hive related commitments. His class, finally happened, and from what I heard, since I was unable to attend classes that day, it was worth the wait.
The classes on safety from @Gorayii arrived, and these along with @jauregui98's classes where he gave tips on how to improve writing, had a "New Acquisition" sticker that I loved. They both looked for the most pedagogical way to communicate what they wanted to convey and I feel they succeeded. From their classes we left ready to apply several of their recommendations.
Then came the unwritten rules of #Hive from the hand of @victoriabsb, who initially told me that she would try to make it "short". (Victoria, if you stop by, it lasted just the right amount of time)😆. Something I would like to highlight before I lose the idea, is that each of the coaches has a background that supports the information they are providing.
In Victoria's case, she's a lawyer, and it's certainly great to have someone who knows law talk to you about "rules", but there are also others for whom what has given them that backing is nothing more and nothing less than practice. You may be thinking: "Gaby, we were doing fine so far" but it's true, something I learned in those days where we all received classes is that you have to practice, practice and keep practicing.
Tip of the moment: Creativity, comes by doing.
Hasta las clases anteriores, quienes no sabíamos nada de #Hive podíamos escribir un post con las herramientas que nos habían proporcionado, pero llegaba la hora de hacer que otros se enterasen de que habíamos escrito una buena publicación. En eso @arlettemsalase tiene un máster, porque usa Twitter en su día a día y se disfruta todo lo que ocurre por allá. En su clase, compartió con nosotros sobre cómo promocionar una publicación, cómo hacer un tweet y qué es el famoso Token Posh.
@yonnathang también nos acompañó en una de las clases y nos compartió su experiencia en #Hive, más allá de crear contenido. Eso fue abrir una puerta para todos, ya que podemos hacer mucho más acá que escribir o subir videos a 3speak. Me gustó que un rato después de estar hablando, recapituló y se presentó, nos dijo que forma parte de Hispapro y a todos nos dio la bienvenida para compartir en su comunidad.
¿Me queda algo por fuera? Sí, me falta hacer mención a las clases de @soy-laloreto y las dejé para el final, porque quiero agradecerle públicamente por la oportunidad de apoyarle en los detallitos que necesitó. Sus clases se basaron en cómo hacer un post, los ecosistemas de #Hive y cómo hacer networking. También nos explicó qué es una wallet, qué son los exchanges y sobre las pasarelas de pago.
Después de vista toda la teoría, llegaba la hora de poner esos conocimientos en práctica. Se tenía una fecha tope para que enviaran por correo electrónico su propuesta de publicación, con la traducción junto a su usuario en Telegram, y las imágenes que querían usar. Pude colaborar leyendo algunas y no te imaginas mi nivel de emoción. Intenté mantener la distancia, pero no sé cómo hacen los curadores para que nos les “emocione” cada publicación que leen.
Ahorita recuerdo un par de publicaciones que me llevaron a las lágrimas, de hecho, las leí en voz alta en casa, porque no podía con mi sentimentalismo. Cada una de las personas que envió su publicación, escribió una presentación contándonos quién es hoy, quién ha sido desde hace algunos años, cómo fue su infancia o lo importante de algún suceso que le ocurrió reciente y le trajo a querer aprender sobre #Hive.
Until the previous classes, those of us who knew nothing about #Hive could write a post with the tools we had been given, but it was time to let others know that we had written a good post. That's what @arlettemsalase has a master's degree in, because she uses Twitter in her day to day life and enjoys everything that happens over there. In her class, she shared with us on how to promote a post, how to make a tweet and what the famous Posh Token is.
@yonnathang also joined us for one of the classes and shared with us his experience at #Hive, beyond creating content. That was opening a door for everyone, as we can do much more here than just write or upload videos to 3speak. I liked that a while after we were talking, he recapped and introduced himself, told us that he is part of Hispapro and welcomed us all to share in his community.
Did I leave anything out? Yes, I am missing to mention @soy-laloreto's classes and I left them for the end, because I want to thank him publicly for the opportunity to support him in the little details he needed. Her classes were based on how to make a post, #Hive ecosystems and how to network. He also explained what a wallet is, what exchanges are and about payment gateways.
After seeing all the theory, it was time to put that knowledge into practice. There was a deadline for them to send by email their proposal for publication, with the translation along with their Telegram user, and the images they wanted to use. I was able to collaborate by reading some of them and you can't imagine my level of excitement. I tried to keep my distance, but I don't know how curators manage to not get "excited" about every publication they read.
Right now I remember a couple of posts that brought me to tears, in fact, I read them out loud at home, because I couldn't handle my sentimentality. Each of the people who sent in their postings wrote an introduction telling us who they are today, who they have been for a few years, what their childhood was like, or the significance of some recent event that happened to them and brought them to want to learn about #Hive.
Una vez leídos y respondidos todos los correos, pudieron compartir sus publicaciones en uno de los temas del grupo, además de que se realizaron dos curaciones en vivo para afianzar los conocimientos adquiridos y para tener una experiencia cercana a lo que se vive en Discord.
Ya va, hay algo que me falta por contarte y de verdad, no quiero olvidarlo…
Recuerdas que todo esto pasó en Telegram, ¿no? Bueno, resulta que salió una actualización donde se le pueden agregar “temas” a los grupos de Telegram, y para #HiveDesdeCero eso le cayó como anillo al dedo. Es decir, un día teníamos un chat plano, sin nada más, y luego de unas horas, ocurrió la magia: teníamos el chat separado en esos temas en donde hasta el emoji del icono tiene movimiento, dime tú. En algún momento sentí, ¿En dónde estoy? ¿En Nueva York?
Subir el nivel de lo que hacemos enriquece toda la experiencia, y eso lo amé. La mayoría de los que estábamos en el grupo no sabíamos que eso se podía hacer y al entrar encontrando novedad, fue un plus para todo. El chat plano se dividió en Grabaciones donde se compartieron los vídeos que se publicaron en YouTube, porque si, se grabó para YouTube y también se compartía en Discord, además se dejaba un audio en el chat, que ahora que recuerdo, se transmitió una clase por Twitter al mismo tiempo, ¿Qué? ¡Una genialidad!
También se separó en el canal de Guías, en donde se dejaron todos los enlaces a información relacionada con las clases, un chat para escribir mientras se daban las *** Clases*** (con ese mismo nombre), otro tema para que dejaran sus Introducciones, un chat General, uno sólo para dejar Dudas y por último un tema para Promoción de publicaciones.
Me parece que por acá terminamos el recorrido de este recuento. Espero que no me falte mencionar a algún coach, y que cada uno de los involucrados con #HiveDesdeCero se disfrutara el proceso de las clases.
Valga la cuña, si conoces a alguien que tenga interés de aprender sobre #Hive o quiera afianzar conocimientos, probablemente en el transcurso del año próximo vayan a dar otras clases.

Once all the mails were read and answered, they were able to share their publications in one of the topics of the group, besides two live healings were performed to consolidate the acquired knowledge and to have a close experience to what is lived in Discord.
There's something I still have to tell you and I really don't want to forget it...
You remember all this happened on Telegram, right? Well, it turns out that an update came out where you can add "themes" to Telegram groups, and for #HiveDesdeCero that fell like a glove. I mean, one day we had a flat chat, with nothing else, and after a few hours, the magic happened: we had the chat separated into those topics where even the emoji icon has movement, you tell me. At some point I felt, where am I, in New York?
Raising the level of what we do enriches the whole experience, and I loved that. Most of us in the group didn't know that could be done and going in finding newness, it was a plus for everything. The flat chat was divided into Recordings where videos that were posted on YouTube were shared, because yes, it was recorded for YouTube and also shared on Discord, plus an audio was left in the chat, which now that I remember, a class was streamed on Twitter at the same time, what, genius!
It was also separated in the Guides channel, where all the links to information related to the classes were left, a chat to write while the *** Classes*** (with the same name) were given, another topic to leave your Introductions, a General chat, one only to leave Doubts and finally a topic for Promotion of publications.
It seems to me that this is the end of this account. I hope I didn't fail to mention a coach, and that everyone involved with #HiveDesdeCero enjoyed the process of the classes.
