Hola!
Gracias a algunos colegas fotógrafos, en julio del 2021, descubrí los NFT y con ellos las Blockchain, las wallets y muchos otros conceptos que eran, algunos medianamente y otros totalmente, nuevos para mí. Lo interesante que me resulto este tema junto a la necesidad de una fuente de ingresos en medio de la situación provocada por la Pandemia de la Covid-19, además de los problemas típicos de una economía “Socialista”, decidí aprender sobre la web 3.0 y las criptomonedas. Estuve cerca de 2 meses estudiando y familiarizándome con la comunidad NFT en twitter, el día 14 de septiembre a las 3:47am publiqué mi primer NFT en la Blockchain de Tezos, a las 12:30pm de ese mismo día tuve mi primera venta, todo gracias a la comunidad. Justo en el momento que hice publico mi primer NFT quede enamorado de la comunidad y es exactamente por la comunidad que estoy hoy aquí, he escuchado a varios colegas hablar con tanta pasión y cariño de esta comunidad que quiero experimentar en carne propia que se siente formar parte de esta.

Thanks to some fellow photographers, in July 2021, I discovered the NFT and with them the Blockchain, wallets and many other concepts that were new to me. The interesting thing that I found this topic together with the need for a source of income in the midst of the situation caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic, in addition to the typical problems of a "Socialist" economy, I decided to learn about web 3.0 and cryptocurrencies. I spent about 2 months studying and familiarizing myself with the NFT community on Twitter, on September 14th at 3:47am I published
my first NFT on the Tezos Blockchain, at 12:30pm that same day I had my first sale, all thanks to the community. Right at the moment I published my first NFT I fell in love with the community and it is exactly because of the community that I am here today, I have heard several colleagues speak with so much passion and love of this community that I want to experience firsthand what it feels like to be part of this community.

Mi nombre es Denys Sifonte, tengo 30 años, soy cubano y vivo en La Habana, Cuba. Nací en el año 91 dos años después de que comenzara la disolución de la antigua Unión Soviética, una etapa de escases y necesidades a la que se le conoce en cuba como “Periodo Especial”.
My name is Denys Sifonte, I'm 30 years old, I'm Cuban and I live in Havana, Cuba. I was born in 1991, two years after the dissolution of the former Soviet Union, a period of suffering and needs known in Cuba as the "Período Especial"(Special Period).

Yo tuve la suerte de haber crecido teniendo computadora en mi casa, y eso hizo que desde niño me interesara en la tecnología y me motivó a estudiar Ingeniería Informática más tarde. Muy poco tiempo después de terminar la carrera de Informática descubrí, gracias a un regalo, lo que se convertiría en mi forma de vida. Ese regalo cambió mi vida, una cámara Nikon D80. Desde que hice la primera foto con ella descubrí que eso era lo que quería hacer por el resto de mi vida y comencé a trabajar en base a ello. Pasé varios cursos, la mayoría en la Escuela de Fotografía Creativa de la Habana, donde me convencí de que mi pasión era la fotografía.
I was lucky to have grown up with a computer at home, and that made me interested in technology since I was a child and motivated me to study Computer Engineering later on. Very soon after finishing my Computer Science degree I discovered, thanks to a gift, what would become my way of life. That gift changed my life, a Nikon D80 camera. Since I shot my first photo with the camera I discovered that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life and I started working on it. I took several courses, mostly at the School of Creative Photography in Havana, where I became convinced that photography was my passion.

Tiempo después de haber terminado de estudiar, la pasión que sentía por la fotografía y estos cursos me permitieron encontrar trabajo en un estudio en el cual pude poner en práctica lo aprendido y me aportó muchísimos conocimientos.
Ahí tuve el chance de conocer y fotografiar a músicos cubanos conocidos internacionalmente como Alain Daniel, Paulo FG, la Sr. Dayana, El Micha, Maikel Blanco, El Chacal, Christian y Rey, Jorge Jr., entre otros. Trabajar 3 años en el estudio me permitió saber qué tipo de fotos disfrutaba más hacer.
After finishing my studies, the passion I felt for photography and these courses allowed me to find a job in a studio where I was able to put in practice what I had learned and it gave me a lot of knowledge.
There I had the chance to meet and photograph internationally famous Cuban musicians like Alain Daniel, Paulo FG, Sr. Dayana, El Micha, Maikel Blanco, El Chacal, Christian y Rey, Jorge Jr. among others. Working 3 years in the studio allowed me to know what kind of photos I enjoyed to shoot.

Disfruto mucho haciendo todo tipo de fotografía, pero hacer fotografía callejera y paisajes urbanos lo disfruto el doble. Por esto en mi perfil encontraran principalmente fotos de las calles de la habana y su gente.
I enjoy doing all kinds of photography, but doing street photography and urban landscapes is what I love most in the world. That's why in my profile you will find mainly photos of the streets of Havana and its people.
