You can learn a lot about Venezuela in these images. For example, much of the economy in Venezuela, for many years, relied on livestock, especially cattle. For this reason, it is common for the landscape of the Venezuelan plains region to have the presence of cattle.
However, although this may be interesting, the images can be even more curious if we look a little further, and refer to the following data:
Se puede conocer mucho de Venezuela en estas imágenes. Por ejemplo, gran parte de la economía en Venezuela, durante muchos años, contó con la ganadería, en especial, la del ganado vacuno. Por esta razón, es común que el paisaje de la región llanera venezolana, cuente con la presencia de reses vacunas.
Sin embargo, aunque esto pueda resultar interesante, pueden resultar aún mucho más curiosas las imágenes si miramos un poco más allá, y se hace referencia a los siguientes datos:
- The images were not taken in the region of the Venezuelan plains, but next to the country's road artery, the Autopista Regional del Centro, precisely on the border between the state of Aragua and the state of Miranda.
- Before, this place, (where the photos were taken) was a well-known as a place where the cows were raised, where, far from grazing a cow with her calf, hundreds of cattle walked.
- The physical appearance of the animals is deplorable. In both cases, both the mother and the calf have serious signs of malnutrition.
- Las imágenes no fueron tomadas en la región de los llanos venezolanos, sino a orillas de la arteria vial del país, la Autopista Regional del Centro, precisamente en los límites del estado Aragua con el estado Miranda.
- Antes, este lugar, (donde fueron tomadas las fotos) era una conocida vaquera, en donde, lejos de pastar una vaca con su ternero, (como se le conoce a l cría de la vaca) se paseaban cientos de reses.
- El estado dicho animales es deplorable. En ambos casos, tanto la madre como la cría, tienen graves muestras de desnutrición.
All this allows us to see the economic irregularity of the Venezuelan nation. A country where you can get a citizen buying any input or food, perhaps eating breakfast, and paying with foreign currency, usually dollars, an action that is commonly carried out in the country's capital. And, maybe even in the same establishment, there is a 10-year-old child, or an adult, asking for alms to be able to eat.
These cows are not the sign of a society in progress, but the living example of a society framed in misery, which prides itself on having the best beaches in the world, the most captivating landscapes to the human eye, paradisiacal islands, snowy mountains and deserts with a scorching heat, luxurious boutiques, and indigenous people hunting with spears in the jungle, an ethnic and cultural variety that fill this land of grace with splendor and beauty, but which, unfortunately, is a victim of its own ignorance, of desire to achieve everything without effort, without perseverance, without work, without sweat. Where laziness is rewarded, where barbarism makes its way.
Todo esto nos permite ver la irregularidad económica de la nación venezolana. Un país donde puedes conseguir a un ciudadano comprando cualquier insumo o alimentos, quizá tomando su desayuno, y pagando con moneda extranjera, por lo general, dólares, acción que se efectúa de forma común en la capital del país. Y, puede que hasta en el mismo establecimiento, esté un niño de 10 años, o un adulto, pidiendo limosnas para poder comer.
Estas vacas no son la muestra de una sociedad en progreso, sino el vivo ejemplo de una sociedad enmarcada en la miseria, la cual se precia de tener las mejores playas del mundo, los paisajes más cautivadores al ojo humano, islas paradisíacas, montañas nevadas y desiertos con un calor abrazador, lujosas boutiques, e indígenas cazando con lanzas en la selva, una variedad étnica y cultural que colman de esplendor y belleza a esta tierra de gracia, pero que, por desgracia, es víctima de su propia ignorancia, del deseo de lograr todo sin esfuerzo, sin constancia, sin trabajo, sin sudor. En donde se premia la holgazanería, donde se abre paso a la barbarie.
Where we are shown by living examples that what really matters is not the amount of material and economic resources that a nation has, but the human talent that is willing to take advantage of such resources, respecting equity and giving merit. to effort, work and perseverance.
En donde se nos muestra con ejemplos vivos que, lo que realmente importa, no es la cantidad de recursos materiales y económicos con los que cuente una nación, sino con el talento humano que esté dispuesto a aprovechar tales recursos, respetando la equidad y dando mérito al esfuerzo, el trabajo y la constancia.
