Greetings and warm hugs to everyone on this #hive platform, my name is Génesis Castañeda from Venezuela, and I want to introduce myself to you on this occasion, I recognize that I should have done it sooner but the truth is that I have very little time here and I didn't know that I should make as my first post a presentation of myself, for which I apologize. Soy estudiante actualmente de la Licenciatura de Artes Plásticas, la cual elegí luego de saberme apasionada por el arte y las ganas infinitas de aprender más y poder pulir mis habilidades gracias al don que Dios me dió, de dibujar desde que era una niña. Y estoy muy emocionada de seguir compartiendo con ustedes las creaciones que con mucho amor llevo a cabo.
I am currently a student of the Bachelor of Fine Arts, which I chose after knowing I was passionate about art and the infinite desire to learn more and be able to polish my skills thanks to the gift that God gave me, of drawing since I was a girl. And I am very excited to continue sharing with you the creations that I create with a lot of love.
Del arte en general a nivel plástico, soy apasionada por la ilustración y el realismo. De todas las técnicas, las que más amo son la técnica de la acuarela, el grafito, el chimó y la tinta china. Las cuales pongo en práctica tanto para trabajos en el ámbito académico como para los encargos de mis clientes.
Regarding art in general at a plastic level, I am passionate about illustration and realism. Of all the techniques, the ones I love the most are watercolor, graphite, chimó and Indian ink. Which I put into practice both for work in the academic field and for my clients' orders.
Por otra parte adoro la lectura, especialmente las temáticas románticas, antologías poéticas, y el misterio. Además de tener fascinación por la lectura, soy muy apasionada por la escritura, específicamente por la poesía.
On the other hand, I love reading, especially romantic themes, poetry anthologies, and mystery. In addition to having a fascination for reading, I am very passionate about writing, specifically poetry.
Amo a los animales, y todos los que me conocen saben que mi vida entera especialmente son los conejitos 💝. He tenido 3 y me siento afortunada por ello, actualmente solo me queda uno que se llama Nené 🥰.

Siempre he sido muy sensible o sentimental, aunque mi aspecto sea muy serio y fuerte quizás. Soy la primera hija de mi madre, la mayor de dos hermanos por parte de mamá y la mayor de 6 hermanos por parte de papá. La mayor de los 13 nietos de mi abuela 💝 la que tiene el carácter más fuerte según ella pero a la vez la más llorona. Y soy la única de la familia que ha estado tan unida al Arte por así catalogarlo.
I have always been very sensitive or sentimental, although my appearance is very serious and perhaps strong. I am my mother's first child, the eldest of two siblings on my mom's side and the oldest of 6 siblings on my dad's side. The eldest of my grandmother's 13 grandchildren 💝 the one who has the strongest character according to her but at the same time the cryiest. And I am the only one in the family who has been so close to Art to catalog it.
Estoy en el sexto semestre de la Carrera y gracias a Dios en compañía de varios compañeros queridos, inteligentes y creativos entre ellos @irenenavarroart hemos podido disfrutar de nuestro arte al compartir momentos tan bonitos en varias exposiciones que hemos realizado, como la de Pecados Capitales en la ciudad del Mango, Cojedes. Y la de Madres, en La Red de Arte de San Carlos, Barquisimeto y Carora... Esta última una exposición intermitente que fue rotandose.
I am in the sixth semester of my degree and thank God, in the company of several dear, intelligent and creative colleagues, including @irenenavarroart, we have been able to enjoy our art by sharing such beautiful moments in several exhibitions that we have held, such as the one about Deadly Sins in the city of Mango, Cojedes. And that of Mothers, in La Red de Arte de San Carlos, Barquisimeto and Carora... The latter an intermittent exhibition that rotated.
Siempre me había sentido atrapada por el mundo del tatuaje, no solo me encantaba tener tatuajes sino que amaba poder convertirlo en una fuente de ingresos haciendo algo que tanto me llena el corazón, así que hace dos años decidí (con unos ahorros y un préstamo) comprar mi primera máquina para tatuar y poco a poco fui por lo demás, ya ahora tengo casi dos años dejando un pedacito de mi en mis clientes, no solo a traves de encargos de retratos o cuadros sino también a través del arte corporal.
I had always felt trapped by the world of tattooing, not only did I love having tattoos but I loved being able to turn it into a source of income doing something that fills my heart so much, so two years ago I decided (with some savings and a loan) I bought my first tattoo machine and little by little I moved on to the rest. Now I have been leaving a little piece of myself in my clients for almost two years, not only through portrait or painting commissions but also through body art.
Me sigo sintiendo aprendiz puesto que siempre estoy aprendiendo un poco más, me gusta este hecho y porque pienso que nunca es suficiente la información cuando es algo por lo que te apasionas y además trabajas... Mientras más se conoce y se aprende más se quiere aprender.
I still feel like a learner since I am always learning a little more, I like this fact and because I think that there is never enough information when it is something that you are passionate about and that you also work for... The more you know and learn, the more you want learn.
