¡Hola Hivers! Sean todos bienvenidos a mi blog. Espero que tengan un gran día, repleto de creatividad. Tal como dije en mi post de presentación, me encanta dibujar, es una de mis pasiones desde que tengo memoria. Por ese motivo, en esta ocasión les mostraré mi progreso como dibujante.

Lastimosamente no tengo registros de mis dibujos de pequeño, ya que entre tantas mudanzas (5 en total) he perdido muchas carpetas de mi infancia. Pero sí recuerdo que realizaba los clásicos dibujos de paisajes; un horizonte, una casa empinada, al lado un árbol de manzanas con una copa grande, debajo del tronco dibujaba la representación del césped, en el extremo superior realizaba unas nubes y el sol que se asomaba. Luego empecé a inclinarme por la representación de rostros, de los cuáles el primer registro fotográfico que tengo es del 2009, a mis 11 años de edad.
Unfortunately I don't have records of my drawings as a child, since among so many moves (5 in total) I have lost many folders from my childhood. But I do remember that I used to make the classic landscape drawings; a horizon, a steep house, next to it an apple tree with a big top, under the trunk I drew the representation of the grass, at the top I drew some clouds and the sun peeking out. Then I began to lean towards the representation of faces, of which the first photographic record I have is from 2009, when I was 11 years old.

Al día de hoy logro darme cuenta que fue en ese entonces cuando comencé a desarrollar fuertemente la habilidad de dibujar, ya que estaba horas y horas dibujando. Me encantaba dibujar, creando o copiándome de rostros de famosos, siempre lo estaba haciendo. Mi gran impulsora en esta rama del arte fue mi hermana mayor, siempre dibujábamos juntos desde pequeños (ella dibuja mucho mejor que yo).
When I was little, every Sunday I would have lunch with my family at my grandparents' house, and then we would spend the whole day there, sometimes even staying for dinner. Of course, at that time I didn't own a cell phone or any electronic device, I found my fun playing ball, running or drawing, among many others. My grandparents had a small house, so as a child I had to find a way to entertain myself during the many hours we spent there. To this day I realize that it was back then when I started to strongly develop the ability to draw, as I would spend hours and hours drawing. I loved to draw, creating or copying faces of celebrities, I was always doing it. My great promoter in this branch of art was my older sister, we always drew together since we were little (she draws much better than me).

Estos son los primeros registros fotográficos que tengo de mis dibujos, el primero es una creación de un rostro inexistente, se puede apreciar que las expresiones faciales son algo exageradas. El segundo es un intento de autorretrato fijo, es decir que me copié de una foto mía. Y el tercero es una representación en caricatura de Fito Páez, un músico y cantante argentino.

Por último, les presento a mi obra favorita, es un retrato que realicé en 2016, pero que luego en 2018 le hice algunos retoques, remarcando más las líneas para que se aprecien mejor las sombras. Este dibujo me fascina, no sólo porque soy admirador de Ed Sheeran (cantante británico), sino también porque sus facciones y su cabello poseía una complejidad que me resultó desafiante. Lo que más aprecio de este dibujo es la mirada y la sonrisa, expresiones claves de cualquier rostro.
Finally, I present to you my favorite work, it is a portrait that I made in 2016, but then in 2018 I made some retouches, highlighting more the lines to better appreciate the shadows. This drawing fascinates me, not only because I am a fan of Ed Sheeran (British singer), but also because his features and hair possessed a complexity that I found challenging. What I appreciate most about this drawing is the look and the smile, key expressions of any face.
Ese fue mi último dibujo que terminé. Últimamente he estado más enfocado en el ámbito de la música, así como también en las finanzas, por ese motivo dejé un poco de lado el dibujo. De vez en cuando agarro el lápiz y hago algún boceto, pero nada más que eso. Quizá en algún momento lo retome, de ser así... ¡serán los primeros en enterarse!
That was my last drawing I finished. Lately I've been more focused on the music field, as well as on finances, so I've left drawing aside a little bit. Every once in a while I pick up a pencil and do some sketches, but nothing more than that. Maybe at some point I will take it up again, if so.... you will be the first to know!
