도로 사진 A Haven of Peaceful Surrounding: Exploring the Wofo Temple

Wherever I go in the scenic areas in the Beijing municipal, especially in the natural scenic area with mountains there will be some temples that have become an inner part of the Chinese culture though they do not follow any religions a very tiny part of their belief goes parallel with the Buddhism which is also true for a small portion of the people in China.

On my last visit to the Chinese National Botanical Garden, I found another temple known as Wofo Temple. As it is located in Beijing's Botanical Garden among all the lush greenery it is an awesome place of worship. The Wofo Temple is a small, peaceful place, not like the huge parks with a wide range of plants and trees. But don't be fooled by its size. This old temple is full of history and beautiful Buddhist art. It is a great place to learn about religion and culture.

My handsome friend Hassan @tanzil2024 always tells me about his interesting travels!😄

I call Hassan the Krishna of Indian mythology!
Since 2,000 years ago, the civilizations of the Indian subcontinent, Buddhism, Hinduism, and women have always been attractive to East Asian men.

By the way, Hasan is currently very interested in Chinese civilization.
So, I thought that talking to Hassan would be a very pleasant experience!😀
So, I plan to be honest with Hassan about my feelings and thoughts about the civilizations of the Indian subcontinent!
I hope Hassan isn't offended by my awkward American grade school style English!

Since 2000 years ago, artworks depicting the physical beauty of Indian women have been exported to East Asia and have become very popular with East Asian men!

My brother Hassan probably knows better than me the physical differences between women from the Indian subcontinent and those from China!😄

I wonder how Hassan felt when comparing the beauties of the Indian subcontinent with the beauties of China!😄

The physical beauty of women from the Indian subcontinent fascinated East Asian men.
So, whenever Indian men come to East Asia, they show interest in Indian women.😃

As the number of Indians coming to East Asia increased, Indian women also began coming to East Asia.

1. Chinese rulers who married Indo-Aryan women!

Chinese ruling class men increasingly married Indo-Aryan women.

Emperor Yuan of Jin (Chinese: 晉元帝; pinyin: Jìn Yuán Dì; Wade–Giles: Chin Yüan-ti; 276 – 3 January 323[1]), personal name Sima Rui (司馬睿), courtesy name Jingwen (景文), was an emperor of the Jin dynasty and the first emperor of the Eastern Jin. His reign saw the steady gradual loss of Jin territory in the north, but entrenchment of Jin authority south of the Huai River and east of the Three Gorges. For generations, Jin was not seriously threatened by the Wu Hu kingdoms to the north.

So, Modern East Asian scholars claim that Chinese emperors married Indo-Aryan women and had children with them.

Emperor Ming of Jin

But, The Chinese 1,700 years ago did not want to recognize an Iranian Aryan woman as the empress of China, so they did not leave portraits of her and her son.

So, currently, no portrait of Ming of Jin (simplified Chinese: 晋明帝; traditional Chinese: 晉明帝; pinyin: Jìn Míng Dì; Wade–Giles: Chin Ming-ti; 299 – 18 October 325) has survived.

To the Chinese people in ancient times, a foreign empress was a very dishonorable figure.

I wonder how beautiful she was when she married the Emperor of China!
So, I enjoy watching the women of the modern Indian subcontinent!!😃

Has my brother Hasan ever thought about how beautiful a woman she would have to be to become Empress of China?😄

도로 사진 Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal (/ˌtɑːdʒ məˈhɑːl, ˌtɑːʒ-/; lit. 'Crown of the Palace') is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the right bank of the river Yamuna in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was commissioned in 1631 by the fifth Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan (r. 1628–1658) to house the tomb of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal; it also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself. The tomb is the centrepiece of a 17-hectare (42-acre) complex, which includes a mosque and a guest house, and is set in formal gardens bounded on three sides by a crenellated wall.

I think The Taj Mahal is the most beautiful building representing the Indian subcontinent.
I imagined that the beauty of Mumtaz Mahal drove the king crazy!
I wonder if Mumtaz Mahal's beauty can attract East Asian men like me!😄

However, it is unfortunate that we cannot know what Mumtaz Mahal looked like because Islamic culture does not leave portraits of people.

Mumtaz Mahal (born Arjumand Banu Begum; Persian pronunciation: [mʊmˈt̪aːz mɛˈɦɛl]; lit. 'The Exalted One of the Palace'; 29 October 1593 – 17 June 1631)[6] was the empress consort of Mughal Empire from 1628 to 1631 as the chief consort of the fifth Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan.[7] The Taj Mahal in Agra, often cited as one of the Wonders of the World,[8] was commissioned by her husband to act as her tomb.[9]

It is even more disappointing that the portrait of Mumtaz Mahal in Pakistan was imagined by a later generation!
I regret that Islamic artists did not leave behind paintings and sculptures of the beauty of Mumtaz Mahal during her lifetime!

That is why Islamic art is not attractive to East Asians!😀
