Hola a todo este post es para explicarles como fue el motivo de que me volví un vtuber en la plataforma de Twitch, por lo que esto es el comienzo de mi historia y disfruten de esta lectura y espero que les guste.
Hello everyone, this post is to explain to you why I became a vtuber on the Twitch platform, so this is the beginning of my story and enjoy this reading and I hope you like it.
Todo esto empezó durante mi último año de escuela. Pase por una experiencia romántica complicada que me dejo bastante afectado, y eso hizo que mi estado de animo estuviera por los suelos. Mi amiga Katalie al verme en este estado, ella siempre estuvo pendiente de mí, y me dio una idea que cambiaría mi vida: “¿Por qué no trasmites en Twitch para sentirte mejor? Yo no sabía que me esperaría en esa plataforma ya tenía mi cuenta, pero solo la usaba para ver otros canales, pero decidí aceptar la idea para distraerme y poder despejar mi mente.
This all started during my last year of high school. I went through a complicated romantic experience that left me quite affected, and that made my mood go down. My friend Katalie, seeing me in this state, was always looking out for me, and gave me an idea that would change my life: “Why don't you stream on Twitch to feel better?” I didn't know what awaited me on that platform. I already had my account, but I only used it to watch other channels, but I decided to accept the idea to distract myself and clear my mind.
Ya después de eso, cambie el nombre que tenia antes y estaba pensando que nombre podría colocar para el canal y luego pensé en los juegos que me gustaban mortal kombat 9 por Striker y Super Mario Strikers Charge y de ahí tome la parte de strike y lo junte con mi nombre formando Alex_Strike30 el numero 30 fue colocado para mencionar mi viejo canal. Katalie ella no solo me dio la idea de irme a Twitch, sino que también me regalo mi primer avatar Vtuber, un simple PNG que se convertiría en la imagen que, de mí, pero en Virtual. Así fue como comencé a trasmitir en vivo cuando entré a la Universidad en el 2023. Al inicio, todo mi canal era muy básico: mis overlays iniciales era muy simples y no tenía idea de cómo debía actuar mi Vtuber o como debía ser su personalidad, simplemente era yo mismo jugando con mi Vtuber.

Pero, aunque era un inicio sencillo, empecé a notar que esto no solo se volvió un pasatiempo si no un escape de la realidad. En tan solo 4 semanas, llegue a la primera meta que fue los 50 seguidores, algo que se volvió como mi logro y me motivo a seguir adelante e ir creciendo y mejorando el canal.
But, although it was a simple start, I began to notice that this was not only becoming a hobby but an escape from reality. In just 4 weeks, I reached the first goal, which was 50 followers, something that became my achievement and motivated me to continue moving forward and growing and improving the channel.
Cuando comencé a ver lo que se me venia me tome el tiempo de aprender de otros streamers para ver como crecer aquí donde conocí a varios streamers y esto me permitió que mi comunidad aumentara y me ayudara a evolucionar. Al conocer a otros streamers que ellos se convirtieron en una parte fundamental de mi historia. Esto sucedió ya que Twitch en sus recomendaciones pude conocer a “YuukiiStar” que fue la primera que conocí y estuve un buen tiempo conociéndola , luego de eso conocí a “lewis6464” que entre a su canal y me gusto como era él y un día estaba en el directo de “YuukiiStar” y escuche la voz de “Lewis6464” , que sorprendido que eran amigos y yo le pregunte si era el mismo “Lewis6464” que yo seguí , ella me confirmo eso y quede loco, ya con el tiempo “YuukiiStar” hizo una raid a uno de sus amigos que fue “Yagatsu18” otro streamer Chileno que con el tiempo se volvió un amigo que puedo atesorar, ellos se volvieron mis amigos y compañeros en este viaje.
When I started to see what was coming, I took the time to learn from other streamers to see how to grow here where I met several streamers and this allowed my community to grow and help me evolve. By meeting other streamers they became a fundamental part of my story. This happened because through Twitch's recommendations I was able to meet "YuukiiStar" who was the first one I met and I spent a good time getting to know her, after that I met "lewis6464" who entered his channel and I liked how he was and one day I was on the "YuukiiStar" live and I heard the voice of "Lewis6464", how surprised they were friends and I asked her if it was the same "Lewis6464" that I followed, she confirmed that to me and I went crazy, over time "YuukiiStar" made a raid on one of her friends who was "Yagatsu18" another Chilean streamer who over time became a friend that I can treasure, they became my friends and companions on this journey.
Aun recuerdo la primera vez que me invitaron a participar en la dinámica llamada “Respondiendo las preguntas de seguidores”. Fue en ese momento donde nació el lore de mi personaje, y por primera vez en mi vida sentí que mi avatar y yo, era mas que solo un personaje virtual se volvió mi real yo.
No paso mucho tiempo en el día que estaba con “Lewis6464” que me presento a una de sus amigas “Thequeenminerva” y ella me pidió colaborar en un stream y el juego fue Overwatch donde ahí nació el “Dúo Perfecto”, aunque al inicio estaba nervioso, esa experiencia me ayudo a quitarme un poco la timidez que tenia y poder soltarme al estar con otro streamer trasmitiendo al mismo tiempo.
I still remember the first time I was invited to participate in the dynamic called “Answering followers’ questions”. It was at that moment where the lore of my character was born, and for the first time in my life I felt that my avatar and I were more than just a virtual character, it became my real self.
Not much time passed in the day that I was with “Lewis6464” that she introduced me to one of her friends “Thequeenminerva” and she asked me to collaborate in a stream and the game was Overwatch where the “Perfect Duo” was born, although at the beginning I was nervous, that experience helped me to get rid of some of the shyness I had and be able to let go when being with another streamer transmitting at the same time.
Esto empezó con el crecimiento de mi personalidad como Vtuber, al principio, mi timidez me frenaba mucho. Había situaciones que simplemente me quedaba callado sin saber que decir a mi gente, pero poco a poco comencé a soltarme y encontrar el estilo que me identificara. Mi humor al trasmitir fue evolucionando de forma natural, se convirtió en parte de mi personalidad como Vtuber. Ya con el tiempo la gente comenzó a identificarme por la forma de jugar y de como reaccionaban a verme jugar Fortnite, donde con el paso del tiempo me fui volviendo una “leyenda” por mi manera única de jugar.
This started with the growth of my personality as a Vtuber. At first, my shyness held me back a lot. There were situations where I would simply remain silent without knowing what to say to my people, but little by little I began to let go and find the style that identified me. My humor when transmitting evolved naturally, it became part of my personality as a Vtuber. Over time, people began to identify me by the way I played and how they reacted to seeing me play Fortnite, where over time I became a "legend" for my unique way of playing.
Un día “YuukiiStar” me invito a participar en 2 torneos de un streamer, y aunque no gane, logre que me destacara y ganarme un lugar en esta comunidad. Después de eso llego el torneo organizado por “YuukiiStar”, ese torneo los coordinadores me dieron algunas desventajas para hacer un poco mas complicado la partida, incluso con todos esos desafíos que me daban, logre ganar su torneo a pesar de todo. Fue en ese momento que me hizo abrir los ojos y me daba cuenta de que estaba creciendo como streamer.
One day, “YuukiiStar” invited me to participate in two of a streamer’s tournaments, and even though I didn’t win, I managed to stand out and earn a place in this community. After that came the tournament organized by “YuukiiStar”, in that tournament the coordinators gave me some disadvantages to make the game a little more complicated, even with all those challenges they gave me, I managed to win their tournament despite everything. It was at that moment that he made me open my eyes and realize that I was growing as a streamer.
Terminamos el año 2023 y dimos el gran paso a conseguir llegar al afiliado, era el 10 de enero del 2024 esto marco y un antes y un después de todo lo avance, había conseguido el afiliado en Twitch. Aun me acuerdo el día, estaba emocionado e incluso lloré de la emoción, porque cumplí mi meta, ya que era el único objetivo que me faltaba llegar y era lo que estaba buscando.
We finished the year 2023 and took the big step to become an affiliate. It was January 10, 2024, this marked a before and after of everything I had advanced, I had achieved the affiliate on Twitch. I still remember the day, I was excited and even cried with emotion, because I achieved my goal, since it was the only objective that I had yet to achieve and it was what I was looking for.
Pero, como en cualquier viaje, no todo fue fácil en mi vida. Pase por momentos difíciles ya me afecto muy emocionalmente. Pero gracias al apoyo de uno de mis 2 amigos @andy90dark y @ineyashami que lograron que superara esos momentos que me atormentaban y seguir mi camino, logrando que saliera a la luz el verdadero Alex que estaba detrás del avatar.
But, as in any journey, not everything was easy in my life. I went through difficult times that affected me very emotionally. But thanks to the support of one of my 2 friends @andy90dark and @ineyashami who managed to get me through those moments that tormented me and continue on my path, the real Alex behind the avatar came to light.
Seguimos creciendo con mi comunidad y esto trajo la evolución de mi contenido, ya con el afiliado en mis manos, me di el trabajo de expandir mi contenido con nuevas ideas para hacer dinámico el canal. Me inspiré en el streamer llamado “Post_Kristd”, con eso me di el trabajo de iniciar mis propios podcasts relacionado con el trayecto en Twitch.
We continued to grow with my community and this brought about the evolution of my content. With the affiliate in my hands, I took on the task of expanding my content with new ideas to make the channel dynamic. I was inspired by the streamer called “Post_Kristd”, with that I took on the task of starting my own podcasts related to the journey on Twitch.
Al inicio, hacia los podcasts solo, pero luego comenzó a mejóralos con el apoyo de Ine quien fue mi segunda ayudante en la dinámica del podcast que daba su aporte de sus preguntas y opiniones sobre la temática que traía al podcast. Al ver los resultados de cada podcast le iba muy bien que la gente le llamaba la atención y eso fue el motivo de cómo nació los podcasts en mi canal.
At first, I made the podcasts alone, but then I started to improve them with the support of Ine, who was my second assistant in the podcast dynamics, giving her input with her questions and opinions on the topic I brought to the podcast. Seeing the results of each podcast, it was great that people were paying attention to it and that was the reason why the podcasts on my channel were born.
Estaba cerca de mi cumpleaños y me había decidido a organizar el evento especial con el cronograma de que se jugaría ese día y también para la noche que era el chupistream que donde tomaría alcohol, donde mis seguidores podrías hacerme beber con sus puntos del canal, con bits o donaciones. Para mi fue el mejor cumpleaños que pase y que me sintiera querido por mis amigos y mi comunidad.
It was close to my birthday and I had decided to organize the special event with the schedule of what would be played that day and also for the night which was the chupistream where I would drink alcohol, where my followers could make me drink with their channel points, with bits or donations. For me it was the best birthday I ever had and I felt loved by my friends and my community.
Bueno llevamos mucho tiempo estando, trasmitiendo en la plataforma de Twitch, cuando el día 14 de agosto fue el día que mas alegre estuve y siempre recordare, había recibido mi primer pago en Twitch. Fue un día maravilloso que al terminar un stream y ver recibí una notificación de mi PayPal de que me habían mandado el primer pago, me llenaba de orgullo, ya que sentía que mi esfuerzo daba frutos. En ese momento le había pedido ayuda a Ine que mejorara el canal y se viera mejor en tema estético y mas atractivo para el stream y ella es una pieza fundamental en el canal por ser una de las mentes creativas para el canal.
Well, we've been streaming on the Twitch platform for a long time, and on August 14th, the day I was the happiest and I'll always remember it, I had received my first payment on Twitch. It was a wonderful day when I finished a stream and saw that I received a notification from my PayPal that they had sent me the first payment, it filled me with pride, since I felt that my effort was paying off. At that time, I had asked Ine for help to improve the channel and make it look better aesthetically and more attractive for the stream, and she is a fundamental piece of the channel for being one of the creative minds for the channel.
Actualmente tengo planes para futuro para seguir evolucionando como vtuber, mi canal seguimos evolucionado de manera progresiva. Uno de los elementos que mas le gusta a mi comunidad es el uso de las cartas en “Streamloots”, que hace que los streams sean mas divertidos para la audiencia y un reto para mí, haciendo que cada directo tenga la emoción que siempre traigo.
I currently have plans for the future to continue evolving as a vtuber, my channel continues to evolve progressively. One of the elements that my community likes the most is the use of cards in “Streamloots”, which makes the streams more fun for the audience and a challenge for me, making each live show have the emotion that I always bring.
Cada día con Ine tratamos de traer nuevas cartas y dinámicas para que el contenido siga creciendo y que la audiencia crezca y se entretengan. Gracias a la mente brillante de Ine, hemos implementado muchas formas de motivar a las personas a donar con precios justos, para que puedan decir cosas divertidas o inesperadas en el stream, un claro ejemplo fue que me lanzaron una carta de “MODO DEFENSA” y que tenia que quedarme en el lugar establecido y como me olvido de eso perdí el reto y Ine fue la que canjeo la carta como castigo me hizo decir un “Ara-Ara” algo que me pareció divertido.
Every day with Ine we try to bring new cards and dynamics so that the content continues to grow and the audience grows and is entertained. Thanks to Ine's brilliant mind, we have implemented many ways to motivate people to donate with fair prices, so that they can say funny or unexpected things in the stream, a clear example was that they threw a "DEFENSE MODE" card at me and that I had to stay in the established place and since I forgot that I lost the challenge and Ine was the one who redeemed the card as punishment, she made me say "Ara-Ara" something that I found funny.
Bueno ya llegamos al final de mi historia, al mirar hacia atrás y de no evitar sentirme feliz y contento de todo lo que e vivido y las personas que conocí y que actualmente formaron parte de mi crecimiento en Twitch. Desde mi amiga Katalie, que fue la que me motivo a entrar al mundo del stream, hasta conocer a muchos amigos y seguidores que le tengo un cariño enorme en este trayecto, todo ellos fueron contribuyendo en mi evolución como Vtuber. Mi historia esta lejos de terminar, aun me sigue emocionando seguir avanzando y compartir nuevas experiencias con mi comunidad.
Well, we've reached the end of my story. Looking back, I can't help but feel happy and content with everything I've experienced and the people I've met who are currently part of my growth on Twitch. From my friend Katalie, who motivated me to enter the world of streaming, to meeting many friends and followers who I have a huge affection for along the way, all of them contributed to my evolution as a Vtuber. My story is far from over, I'm still excited to keep moving forward and share new experiences with my community.
