Hey, you are awesome!

Hello everybody, today I went to seek out The Lurker and visit his home.

Gosh... I'll have to clean up a bit... get the dishes done. Put my clean clothes on... 😆🤪.

We shall find out if he has done the dishes 🤣

Who am I kidding, why do people feel like they have to make an effort for when people visit?

Then leads me down the path of houses and homes. Make yourself at home is a common way we greet people. But seriously, if a house looks like one of these showhouses where nothing looks like it has even been touched, then I personally could never feel at home in that house.

When we visit someone it is generally because we like them. And when you like someone you don't really care what their home is like. You don't care whether they have cleaned the coffee cup they drank from 42 minutes before you got there, or if they polished the wooden coffee table where you will put your coffee mug. Nah of course you don't, but if you do then I imagine we are the sort of people whose paths would not cross.

It is like funerals, so many people turn up at funerals, well if they were being thoughtful then why not visit said person before the funeral? That's why I won't be having one, fluff that. Mrs T would be better off keeping the money and buying herself a holiday back to the States.

Thoughtful now there is a word with big meanings.

Is it thoughtful of me to come and visit the House of Lurker? Not really as I am here at the behest of the esteemed DreemLady herself @dreemsteem who instructed all dreemers to come here at least three times in August and write as part of the August challenge.

Well, this is my first time here. The founder of this terrific community is none other than the King of awesomesauce @wesphilbin himself. He is a self-proclaimed Lurker, he is, however, all over the place lending a helping hand and giving kind words of encouragement to so many people.

If you know me then you know I wander through the door of forgetfulness with monotonous regularity!

But, if you do know me, then you will know I deal in positivity. It is all around us, we just need to let it shine.

As my mother would remind us whenever someone would be moaning ... "misery loves company" and "there is always, always someone worse off than you right now, so count your blessings"!

So, I always bring positivity when I visit someone.

Now then, I have my positivity but what else shall I bring...

So long as you brought some popcorn! You can get more done with that delicious food in your belly! And, yes... my community door, is always open. For folks that are wanting to spread some positive, and thoughtful energy!

Ding dong here I am knocking.

Next time you see a mirror, stop in front of it.
You will notice a person...

Now then, I want you to point to the person in the mirror, and say ...

"Hey, you are awesome!"

Now I want you to repeat it. Get that finger out and point at the same person in the mirror...

Repeat after me ....

"Hey, you are awesome! OH YES YOU ARE!"

Are you smiling? I know I am!!!

Yeah but, oh here comes the BUT brigade .....

Yeah but Tengo.... I don't have a mirror!

Oh come on now, if you really don't have a mirror, I bet you have a smartphone? Am I right ....

Yeah so get that camera open and point your finger ...

Now partner, yes you @jellyvine

Get your finger ready and repeat after me ....

"Hey, you are awesome!"

and once again ...

"Hey, you are awesome!"

How are you feeling now?

I have been doing this for years, coz you know I kinda like that guy I see in the mirror!

Do you know I even give him a wink too? Why not try that too!!!
