Nasser Al-Attiyah leads Dakar Rally 2023 after third special stage

Hi, friends!

Today we will cover two special stages (or lets say two days of the rally) because we now have videos for yesterday and today's special stages. Yesterday it was a disaster day for nine-time World Rally champion Seb Loeb who had numerous punctures and lost more then hour and a half.

Loeb though yesterday that all his chances for the win are already over but how it goes in the rally so far, anything is possible. Today we had a rain storm in the middle of the desert and wilderness and the organizer had to short the special stage by some 70km.

Yesterday's loser Guerlain Chicherit won today's special stage in his Hunter Buggy but the overall lead took multiple rally winner Nasser Al-Attiyah in his works Toyota Hilux.

As I wrote yesterday, Yazeed Al-Rajhi could finish very high if he continues to drive like this but don't forget that we are still very early in the rally. Today he finished the third special stage in 5th place but his is now 2nd overall, just 13m20s behind leader Al-Attiyah.

Audi Sport finally has a competitor in the top three overall. It is probably the most successful driver/rider in the history of the Dakar Rally - Stephane Peterhansel. He finished this day in 4th place, some 7m47s of the stage winner but he is in the 3rd place overall 20m45s behind a leader Al-Attiyah. Seb Loeb finished this day outside of top ten.

Don't forget that only one puncture takes a lot of time to change on this big vehicles and the rally is still in the early stages. It will be very interesting until the end of the rally.

Please enjoy in the videos from the both days... :)
