Italian rally ace and champion Andrea Crugnola (Citroen) showed once again his speed and determination on the first day of tarmac round of European Rally Championship called Rally di Roma Capitale which is based in Italy around capital Rome.
But the differences between the drivers in the top 10 are so small that any mistake by any of them can change the leaderboard very quickly.
So, Crugnola leads ahead of Simone Tempestini (Škoda) by only 0.7s and the 3rd is super fast French driver Mathieu Franceschi with gap of 4.9s behind a leader.
Simone Campedelli is 4th fastest with 5.8s behind a leader while current European Rally champion Hayden Paddon holds 5th place with 7.9s behind Crugnola.
Sunday brings more special stages as a last day of competition so lets see how it goes.
