BREAKING NEWS: Al-Attiyah won Dakar Rally 2023

Hi, friends!

Nasser Al-Attiyah won the Dakar Rally for the fifth time and was his the most mature drive if you ask me.

Nine-time World Rally champion Seb Loeb had some problems in the first week of the rally but later drove his Hunter BRX superbly and won six special stages in the row which is a new record regarding a Dakar Rally.

He started to push more and more trying to force Al-Attiyah to make a mistake. But Nasser is super experienced driver who is rarely impressed and rarely make a mistake.

So he finished a rally with the win, 1h20m in front of 2nd placed Loeb.
Dakar debutant Lucas Moraes finished 3rd overall in another Toyota Hilux (same as Nasser) and he is the man of a rally if you ask me. From no experience to a 3rd place overall, that's fantastic.

Old fox Giniel de Villiers finished 4th overall in another Toyota with South-African Henk Lategan in the 5th overall.

It was a much tougher rally then the last yearso that's the right way for organisers for the future events.
