SWC transforms the Park of Tiquire Flores
¡Saludos amigos y amigas de Hive! Noviembre ha sido un mes muy productivo, lleno de metas cumplidas, hechos reales y bendiciones. Desde hace poco más de 2 meses, gracias a los resultados obtenidos de la primera fase, Street Workout Community ha tenido la intención de apoyar y sumarse a la transformación y condicionamiento del espacio ubicado en el Parque del Sector Tiquire Flores, municipio Revenga, estado Aragua. Tras semanas de reuniones de trabajo, planificación y coordinación junto al CEO y la Asesora Técnica de SWC (@manuelramos y @marlenyaragua) logramos concretar de manera objetiva todo lo que se llevaría a cabo. Nuevos planos y croquis, recursos financieros para la adquisición y compra de materiales, para la obra de construcción, herrería, albañilería, pintura y logística para los trabajadores. Todo esto fue posible gracias a la Blockchain de #Hive, quien promueve y apoya el desarrollo de nuevos espacios para la formación profesional de atletas de alto rendimiento en Venezuela. En esta nueva publicación, intentaré abarcar todo lo que hemos realizado hasta el momento, con la significativa ayuda y apoyo de dos amigos y compañeros de la comunidad, quienes se han atrevido a formar parte de este proceso con total entrega, @johnlinares y @joscar-sw. Mi nombre es Stiffen Paternina @stypaternina y este contenido es para todos ustedes.
Greetings friends of Hive! November has been a very productive month, full of accomplished goals, real facts and blessings. For a little more than 2 months, thanks to the results obtained from the first phase, Street Workout Community has had the intention to support and join the transformation and conditioning of the space located in the Tiquire Flores Sector Park, Revenga municipality, Aragua state. After weeks of work meetings, planning and coordination with the CEO and the Technical Advisor of SWC (@manuelramos and @marlenyaragua) we were able to concretize objectively everything that would be carried out. New plans and sketches, financial resources for the acquisition and purchase of materials, for the construction work, blacksmithing, masonry, painting and logistics for the workers. All this was possible thanks to the Blockchain of #Hive, who promotes and supports the development of new spaces for the professional training of high performance athletes in Venezuela. In this new publication, I will try to cover everything we have done so far, with the significant help and support of two friends and fellow community members, who have dared to be part of this process with total dedication, @johnlinares and @joscar-sw. My name is Stiffen Paternina @stypaternina and this content is for all of you.

En nuestro primer día de trabajo, el herrero y albañil Oswaldo Mayora se encargó junto a su hijo de hacer las mediciones del terreno, para establecer los lugares en los cuales se abrirían los huecos en el espacio, por supuesto con la respectiva gestión de permisos y aprobación de la máxima autoridad del municipio. Una vez realizado esto, mis compañeros Joscar, John y yo, procedimos a hacer los huecos, con el uso de picos, palas y barra maciza. Adelantamos la mayoría de huecos, hasta que llegó la hora en la que se tuvieron que ir, en este punto, me encargué de hacer el resto con algunos compañeros del equipo en la noche y al día siguiente. Esa misma tarde cayó una fuerte lluvia, por lo que los huecos se llenaron de agua y tierra. Por lo que tuvimos que irlos vaciando uno por uno al día siguiente y volver a cavar la medida.
On our first day of work, the blacksmith and mason Oswaldo Mayora was in charge, together with his son, of measuring the land to establish the places where the holes would be opened in the space, of course with the respective management of permits and approval of the highest authority of the municipality. Once this was done, my colleagues Joscar, John and I, proceeded to make the holes, with the use of picks, shovels and solid bar. We advanced most of the holes, until the time came when they had to leave, at this point, I was in charge of doing the rest with some teammates at night and the next day. That same afternoon a heavy rain fell, so the holes were filled with water and dirt. So we had to empty them one by one the next day and dig the measure again.
En el segundo día de trabajo, a horas de la mañana, me encargué de diligenciar y recibir los materiales de construcción que serían utilizados en toda la obra, mientras el camión descargaba la arena y la piedra en la vía, fui bajando el cemento para luego orillar la arena y la piedra hacia la cera, para no obstaculizar la vía. Esto lo hice solo hasta que los chicos llegaron para ayudarme. De este modo, pude subir a mi casa a buscar todas las herramientas para trabajar, pues, cuando recibí los materiales, solo contaba con una pala y sin la posibilidad de moverme para no descuidar los materiales, tuve que esperar el apoyo de los muchachos. Cuando llegaron, todo fue más fácil, desde la ciudad de Maracay trajeron los materiales y tubos que se compraron allá para la extensión del parque. Luego de descargar todo, se encargaron de preparar la mezcla de cemento que sería vaciada en los huecos junto con las planchas de hierro, sobre las cuales irían las bases una vez que se secaran al día siguiente. Además de ello, se reemplazaron los tubos de sujeción de las barras que ya estaban hechas por unos más gruesos, puesto a que tendrán una mayor exigencia cuando sean utilizadas a nivel profesional, por lo que deben ser lo suficientemente resistentes.
On the second day of work, in the morning hours, I was in charge of taking care and receiving the construction materials that would be used throughout the work, while the truck was unloading the sand and stone on the road, I was lowering the cement to then bank the sand and stone towards the wax, so as not to obstruct the road. I did this alone until the guys arrived to help me. In this way, I was able to go up to my house to get all the tools to work, because, when I received the materials, I only had a shovel and without the possibility of moving so as not to neglect the materials, I had to wait for the support of the boys. When they arrived, everything was easier. From the city of Maracay they brought the materials and pipes that were bought there for the park extension. After unloading everything, they were in charge of preparing the cement mixture that would be poured into the holes along with the iron plates, on which the bases would be placed once they dried the next day. In addition, the retaining tubes of the bars that had already been made were replaced with thicker ones, since they will be more demanding when they are used at a professional level, so they must be sufficiently resistant.
En el tercer día de trabajo de construcción y remodelación del parque Tiquire Flores, nos dedicamos a levantar las bases para las nuevas barras, lo cual les daría expansión a las estructuras de Calistenia y Street Workout. Luego de medir y nivelar el terreno, el herrero procedió a cortar el sobrante de los tubos, de tal manera de que todos quedaran a la misma altura, y aplicándoles soldaduras los fijó. Posteriormente a esto, procedió a colocar todos los tubos de sujeción. De este modo, ya todo el parque estaba armado, solo faltaba darle el acabado profesional, mediante el fondo anticorrosivo, pintura mate y de esmalte, de lo cual se encargó @johnlinares con el apoyo de @joscar-sw. Adelantaron todo lo que pudieron hasta horas de la noche, fue una de las jornadas de trabajo más largas, por lo cual les ofrecí hospedaje en mi casa, a lo cual ellos aceptaron y fueron bien recibidos para continuar al día siguiente.
On the third day of construction and remodeling work at Tiquire Flores Park, we dedicated ourselves to raising the bases for the new bars, which would give expansion to the Calisthenics and Street Workout structures. After measuring and leveling the ground, the blacksmith proceeded to cut the excess of the tubes, so that all were at the same height, and applying welds, he fixed them. After this, he proceeded to place all the supporting tubes. In this way, the whole park was already assembled, it only remained to give it the professional finish, using the anticorrosive primer, matte and enamel paint, which took care of @johnlinares with the support of @joscar-sw. They advanced as much as they could until late at night, it was one of the longest working days, so I offered them lodging in my house, which they accepted and were well received to continue the next day.
En el cuarto día, una vez que el herrero finalizó su trabajo, soldando las tapas que se colocarían tanto en las bases redondas como en las cuadradas, nos encargamos de terminar todo lo que faltaba en cuanto a pintado, ayudé a colocar papel y cinta en las barras para delimitar las zonas a las cuales no debía caerle pintura de otro color, y John y Joscar se encargaron del resto. De este modo, logramos finalizar la obra que hoy día, representa uno de los mejores y más grandes parques de Street Workout y Calistenia que hay en Venezuela.
On the fourth day, once the blacksmith finished his work, welding the covers that would be placed on both the round and square bases, we were in charge of finishing everything that was missing in terms of painting, I helped to place paper and tape on the bars to delimit the areas where paint of another color should not fall, and John and Joscar took care of the rest. In this way, we were able to finish the work that today represents one of the best and largest Street Workout and Calisthenics parks in Venezuela.
Quiero agradecerle a la persona que durante todo este proceso se encargó de nuestra alimentación, que tras cada comida que degustamos, retomamos las fuerzas necesarias para continuar con este arduo trabajo. Les presento a mi madre, Carmen Veras, quien fue la responsable de tener siempre una comida exquisita en la mesa para todos los trabajadores, incluso aquellos que no estaban previstos. I want to thank the person who during this whole process was in charge of our food, who after each meal we tasted, we regained the necessary strength to continue with this arduous work.
