Keeping bathroom and kitchen faucets sparkling clean is no longer mission impossible, let alone requiring expensive products, because by simply mixing the same amount of vinegar and warm water you can achieve it. Or at least that's what the Internet search engines say, but is it Myth or Reality? Come with me to find out!
Happy day beautiful people of #homesolutions, I hope you are feeling great, today I am once again with you in the "Myth or Reality " Thursdays, one of my favorite days according to the daily themes of the community because I find it quite fun to confirm or disprove those tricks that I find on the web or that are recommendations from family friends.
And when it comes to cleaning I am always looking for some homemade trick to make things easier for me because in my case with two allergic children I try as much as possible not to use chemical products, because their strong smell usually triggers episodes of sneezing in my children, so for many things I opt for the homemade, plus we take care of the environment.
And so it was that in the middle of my searches to clean the bathroom I found one that specifically promised to leave the faucets like new, using vinegar, which I immediately decided to try because it is something I usually have at home and besides the excellent results it promises would not affect the health of mjs children.
So with that trick up my sleeve I waited for the day the cleaning was due and prepared the miraculous mixture, which was composed of only two ingredients; warm water and white vinegar in equal amounts.
As you can see there was nothing to lose, just 1/4 cup of vinegar which was the amount I decided to try and 1/4 cup of warm water. The only thing I had to do was to mix them in a container and that was it, the magic product was ready to be tested, and to handle it more comfortably, I poured the liquid in a container with a spray bottle.
I then proceeded to spray it all over the surface of the faucet, including the base and the water outlet, because I also read that vinegar destroys the sediment deposits that form thanks to the minerals in the water, those same sediments that leave their unpleasant marks on the outside of the faucet and that are so hard to remove.
After spraying the mixture, I left it on for a few minutes and removed it with a sponge, and I must say that this time the trick turned out to be Real, all the soap and sediments disappeared completely, and the faucet was not only very clean and disinfected but it really looked like new.
Of course, with those results I decided to try it on the dishwasher faucet, thinking that it would not work there, and guess what happened... well, yes, it worked! The faucet and its base, the one that is in direct contact with the water and has a yellow stain that is difficult to remove, was completely gone, as well as any trace of dirt.
So yes, vinegar is effective for cleaning bathroom and kitchen faucets, so I invite you to try it with absolute confidence. Not only will you be saving money, but you will be helping to take care of the environment and protecting your health and that of your loved ones.

O por lo menos eso dicen los buscadores de Internet, pero ¿será Mito o Realidad? ¡Acompáñenme a descubrirlo!
Feliz día gente bella de #homesolutions, espero se encuentren súper bien, el día de hoy me encuentro una vez más con ustedes en los jueves de "Mito o Realidad", uno de mis días favoritos de acuerdo a las temáticas diarias de la comunidad pues me resulta bastante divertido poder confirmar o desvirtuar esos trucos que encuentro en la web o que son recomendaciones de familiares amigos.
Y es que cuando se trata de la limpieza siempre estoy buscando algun truco casero que me facilite las cosas ya que en mi caso con dos niños alérgicos trato en lo posible de no utilizar productos químicos, debido a que su fuerte olor suele desencadenar episodios de estornudos en mis hijos, así que para muchas cosas opto por lo casero, además que cuidamos el medio ambiente.
Y fué así que en medio de mis búsquedas para limpiar el baño me encontré con una que específicamente prometía dejar como nuevas las griferías, utilizando vinagre, cosa que de inmediato decidí probar pues es algo que normalmente tengo en casa y que además de los excelentes resultados que promete no afectaría la salud de mjs hijos.
Así que con ese truco bajo la manga esperé el día en que correspondía la limpieza y preparé la mezcla milagrosa, que estaba compuesta por sólo dos ingredientes; agua tibia y vinagre blanco en iguales cantidades.
Como pueden ver no había nada que perder, solo 1/4 de taza de vinagre que fue la cantidad con la que decidí probar y 1/4 de taza de agua tibia. Lo único que tenía que hacer era mezclarlos en un envase y listo, el producto mágico estaba listo para ser probado, y para manipularlo con mayor comodidad, vertí el líquido en un envase con un atomizador.
Seguidamente procedí a rociarlo por toda la superficie del grifo, incluyendo la base y la salida del agua, porque también leí que el vinagre destruye los depósitos de sedimentos que se van formando gracias a los minerales del agua, esos mismos sedimentos que dejan sus marcas desagradables en la parte externa del grifo y que cuesta tanto sacar.
Después de haber rociado la mezcla, dejé actuar por unos minutos y retiré con una esponja, y debo decir que esta vez el truco resultó ser Real, todo resto de jabón y sedimentos desapareció por completo, y el grifo no sólo quedó muy limpio y desinfectado sino que realmente se veía como nuevo.
Por supuesto que con esos resultados decidí probarlo en el grifo del lavaplatos, pensando que ahí no funcionaría, y adivinen ¿qué ocurrió?... pues, sí, también funcionó!. El grifo y su base, esa que está en contacto directo con el agua y presenta una mancha amarilla dificil de quitar había desaparecido por completo, así como cualquier rastro de suciedad.
Asi que sí, el vinagre es efectivo para limpiar las griferias del baño y la cocina, por lo que te invito a probarlo con absoluta confianza. No sólo te estarás ahorrando dinero, sino que contribuyes a cuidar el medio ambiente y proteges tu salud y la de los tuyos.
