Decorar cada espacio de nuestro hogar y darles nuestro toque especial es algo que todos queremos, pero seguramente son muchos, los que solo al pensar en los gastos, dejan de lado esta idea de inmediato, pero esto no tiene por qué ser así, y de hecho, paso a paso les he ido mostrando, cómo con poco presupuesto he realizado algunos cambios en casa que lucen bastante bien.
Y todo este proceso comenzó con el baño, donde con pequeños detalles decorativos, como copas, envases de vidrio reciclados y algunos objetos recolectados en casa (cestas y vasos), le di un gran cambio a mi sala de baño sin gastar un solo centavo.
Seguidamente, pasé al área de la sala, donde el giro más importante lo logré gracias a la incorporación de algunas plantas, como pequeños cactus, y otras especies aptas para interiores.
Esto, aparte de detalles como una decoración que realicé con algunos discos de vinilo que pasaron a ocupar la pared focal de la sala, y por supuesto mis pequeñas macetas transformadas con revistas y diferentes materiales que tenía a la mano en casa.
Les aseguro que no compré absolutamente nada para hacer este cambio de imagen y definitivamente pueden notar la diferencia.
Con mi sala lista, estaba faltando el área del comedor, donde solo tenía una mesa de vidrio y cuatro asientos que hace un tiempo retapicé a 0 costo, pues lo hice con unas cortinas negras que tenía en casa y que hasta ahora han cumplido muy bien su función.
El caso es que esta área no contaba con ningún tipo de decoración y al estar conectada con la sala, el espacio como que no fluía, ya que solo estaba la mesa y la pared en la que hice una especie de mural con palabras alusivas a la cocina. Pero hace un tiempo se me había metido entre ceja y ceja hacer unas repisas para una pared que estaba disponible. Y para esto pedí ayuda a mi esposo, pero ya saben en qué terminó eso...
¡Exactamente!, yo me hice cargo, porque de lo contrario, aún estaría esperando.
Así que estuve mirando en casa qué podría utilizar para hacer unas repisas donde la ayuda de mi esposo fuese mínima, y así fue como di con unas gavetas de un antiguo closet que desarmamos hace un tiempo, y con pequeños detalles y algo de ayuda de Internet logré tener lista una repisa que pasó por varias transformaciones y cambios de apariencia antes de llegar al resultado que les muestro hoy, pero que finalmente ocupa ese espacio especial en casa, y definitivamente le aporta ese "algo" que estaba buscando.
La verdad fue un trabajo bastante sencillo, y lo único para lo que necesité la ayuda de mi esposo fue para fijar los peldaños y la repisa a la pared, porque el uso del taladro me da algo de miedo, del resto, fue algo que hice yo sin incurrir en gastos adicionales.
Y sé que no todos tienen un closet desarmado en casa, pero estoy más que segura, que con algo de ganas y creatividad pueden hacer esto y más, porque como dicen por ahí... "Querer es poder".
De hecho, hace un tiempo vi que un amigo creó un espaldar para su cama con una tabla vieja que encontró tirada en la calle, a la que luego de un poquito de amor convirtió en una cabecera espectacular. Así que atrévanse a crear y hacer de su hogar lo que siempre han soñado.

And this whole process started with the bathroom, where with small decorative details, such as cups, recycled glass containers and some objects collected at home (baskets and glasses), I gave a big change to my bathroom without spending a single penny.
Next, I moved on to the living room area, where the most important change was achieved thanks to the addition of some plants, such as small cacti, and other species suitable for indoors.
This, apart from details such as a decoration I made with some vinyl records that became the focal wall of the room, and of course my small pots transformed with magazines and different materials I had at hand at home.
I assure you that I bought absolutely nothing to do this makeover and you can definitely tell the difference.
With my living room ready, I was missing the dining area, where I only had a glass table and four seats that some time ago I reupholstered at 0 cost, because I did it with some black curtains that I had at home and so far have served their function very well.
The thing is that this area did not have any kind of decoration and being connected to the living room, the space did not flow, since there was only the table and the wall where I made a kind of mural with words alluding to the kitchen. But some time ago, I had been thinking about making some shelves for a wall that was available. And for this I asked my husband for help, but you know how that turned out....
Exactly, I took over, because otherwise I would still be waiting.
So I was looking at home what I could use to make some shelves where my husband's help would be minimal, and that's how I found some drawers from an old closet that we disassembled some time ago, and with small details and some help from the Internet I managed to have ready a shelf that went through several transformations and changes of appearance before reaching the result I show you today, but that finally occupies that special space at home, and definitely brings that "something " I was looking for.
The truth was a pretty simple job, and the only thing I needed my husband's help for was to fix the steps and the shelf to the wall, because the use of the drill scares me a little, otherwise, it was something I did myself without incurring additional expenses.
And I know that not everyone has a disassembled closet at home, but I am more than sure, that with some desire and creativity you can do this and more, because as they say .... "Willingness is power ".
In fact, some time ago I saw that a friend of mine created a backrest for his bed with an old board he found lying on the street, which after a little bit of love he turned into a spectacular headboard. So dare to create and make your home what you have always dreamed of.
