En esta oportunidad les comparto un trabajo no muy agradable que hice el domingo pasado, porque consistió en sacar a tobos el agua acumulada en el área donde está ubicada la bomba del sistema hidroneumático de mi residencia.

In this opportunity I share with you a not very pleasant job I did last Sunday, because it consisted in removing the water accumulated in the area where the pump of the hydropneumatic system of my residence is located.

Antes de mudarnos a nuestra actual residencia, mandé a construir un tanque subterráneo de 4000 litros aproximadamente para almacenamiento de agua potable y a su lado se construyó un espacio también subterráneo para ubicar el sistema de bombeo. El problema radica en que mi vecino no tiene techo en el estacionamiento y cuando llueve el agua penetra por la tapa y me inunda dicha àrea. Por lo cual debo estar periódicamente sacando el agua porque además de ser un criadero de mosquitos, debo evitar que el agua suba al nivel de la bomba y le ocasione daños irreversibles.

Before moving to our current residence, I had a subway tank of approximately 4000 liters built for the storage of drinking water and next to it a space was also built subway to locate the pumping system. The problem is that my neighbor does not have a roof on the parking lot and when it rains the water penetrates through the cover and floods that area. Therefore, I must periodically remove the water because besides being a breeding ground for mosquitoes, I must prevent the water from rising to the level of the pump and causing irreversible damage.

De tanta agua que le ha caído ya los tubos y bisagras de la tapa están corroídos y pronto debo mandar a reconstruirla antes que se termine de desarmar.

From so much water that has fallen on it, the tubes and hinges of the cover are corroded and soon I will have to have it rebuilt before it falls apart.

Para hacer el trabajo tuve que sacar cauchos viejos, gomas y otros artefactos que allí guardo, esperando que algun dia puedan servir para otra cosa. Además casi que quito prestado un traje de buzo, porque el nivel de agua llegaba a una altura de 25 cm aproximanadamente. El agua estaba helada cuando metí los pies pero alguien debía hacerlo.

Dije al principio que no es un trabajo agradable porque tengo que agacharme y levantarme a botar el agua con el tobo y esto me afecta mi problema de escoliosis, tanto que el resto del día lo pasé con mucho dolor en la espalda.

To do the job I had to take out old tires, rubbers and other artifacts that I keep there, hoping that someday they can be used for something else. I also almost had to borrow a diving suit, because the water level reached a height of about 25 cm. The water was freezing when I put my feet in but someone had to do it.
I said at the beginning that it is not a pleasant job because I have to bend down and get up to throw the water with the bucket and this affects my scoliosis problem, so much so that I spent the rest of the day with a lot of pain in my back.

Al final logré el objetivo, luego de una hora aproximadamente saqué toda el agua, sequé el piso, le hice limpieza externa a la bomba y areglé las cosas que estaban alli acumuladas.
