(Isaiah 10:27 KJV)
“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing”.
The role of the Holy Spirit's anointing in a Christian's life can never be over-stressed. It is important we have the anointing if we must fulfill our ministries. A man without anointing will create no impact in the life of others. So, our prayer should be that we be filled with the Holy Spirit. This is the key to doing exploit.
When we talk of anointing, it means many things to us as believers, but chiefest and most important of them is the fact that it releases the power of God over our lives. Anointing simply means the in-dwelling of God in us. You cannot carry God inside of you and then you don't do exploits. The more reason we should yearn for it more and more.
More so, one of the best ways to enjoy divine exemption and immunity from satan’s onslaught is by growing in the anointing of the Holy Spirit. What you are a carrier of God's anointing, you become too hot for the devil and his cohorts. You become a no go area for the enemy because you have been made strong and higher in the spirit realm.
The presence of God is the secret of the anointing. Once you have the anointing, you carry the presence of the Lord. What happens when we spend time in the presence of God is that His presence gets to really rub off on us. We can spend time with God by worshippping, studying the Bible, praying etc. So, the anointing is actually the tangible presence of God upon your life that was carried over from spending time with Him.
You cannot desire God's anointing and then you don't pray often or study His words often. The word of God is what really carries the very presence of God Himself. Remember that the word is God and He is His word. The more you eat the word of God, the more anointed you become. You can’t be enslaved when you are truly anointed. You cannot suffer failures or defeat when you carry the anointing.
This is the more reason we need to wait on God for His anointing. Anointing is what makes the difference. Anointing takes away stress.

“And it shall be in that day that the burden of [the Assyrian] shall depart from your shoulders, and his yoke from your neck. The yoke shall be destroyed because of fatness [which prevents it from going around your neck]”.
