To be at ease is to be relaxed. In the military, when you hear “attention”, you brace up: strengthen your legs and tuck your arms by your side, looking as tense as you can. When you hear “at ease” your body receives liberty and your muscles are relaxed.
You may wonder, what in the world today calls for ease or relaxation. All you hear of is about HIV Aids, wars, Terrorists, ISIS, Herdsmen killers, Religion domination and related killings, and the latest killer virus called Coronavirus and other Pandemic ravaging the world of today. No one is any longer at ease.
To the people of the bible, these are not sound strange event because the warnings are there. However, Child of God, the only reason to relax is because God is in control. Though the earth be removed, though the mountains quake; there is a river of divine provisions flowing for God’s true children and you can’t afford to lose your peace.
In the midst of a mighty tempest that rocked the ship having Jesus as a passenger, He was asleep in the hinder part of the ship on a pillow. When His disciples woke Him up in fear and dismay; He was surprised for them. Why? He wondered how they could ever imagine; that, the ship He was in, could sink in the midst of the sea.

Child of God, Christ in you is the guarantee that you can never go under. He is not in you in vain; He is not in you for the fun of it. He is alive and well in you and you can never be overcome by the rage in our times. The true and true solution is the one that God himself provides. There is helps from the endeavors of men of knowledge and goodwill. For all these men we give glory to GOD. For heads of governments who are making concerted efforts we give our commendations. However, except the LORD builds a nation, the builders would not achieve much.
The faith that overcomes the storms of life, stems from the assurance that right in you, is the Possessor of heaven and earth and He will not allow you fall. If you fall, it means He has fallen, because He is in you. If you fail, it means He has failed, because He is in you. God cannot fail and as such, you can’t.
Learn to tuck your hands in His hands by staying with the principles of His Word and the revelation of His Spirit and you will be borne on high, beyond the storms of life.
