Jeremiah 3:19; I wanted to accept you as my child and give you a delightful land, the most beautiful land in all the world. I wanted you to call me father and never again turn away from me.
When God's people turned away from him, they brought suffering upon themselves. The lost their heritage and greatness and it did not end well for them. But our God is merciful, ever loving and amenable to forgive our sins when we repent and come back to him. In those days He saw how his people were suffering so called his people back to him with the instruction never to turn away from him and they abide, they walked in him and he with them, they lives which was full of suffering and pain as a result of neglect of God was turned around again.
My message for you this morning is very simple, stay in the light, stay at the feet of the almighty, do not turn away from God, he is for you, Christ came to die that our sins may be forgiven, he came to die that we may draw nearer to God, he came to die that we may become heirs to the throne and that we may be called sons and daughter of the most high. It is only in him that there is life and it is only in him that we can experience unfathomable changes, bliss and peace. Commit yourself to God today and pray for the strength to see you through this journey called life whiles remaining under his shadow. Have a blessed day.
