Good day people of God.
Welcome to my daily devotional. This is my Introductory post

Our today's Bible reading is taken from Joshua 1:9 which says;

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. Source

Following the recent happenings in Nigeria, one can easily notice that the Lord Almighty is not at peace with Nigerian leaders. This can be linked to what the Bible has in Romans 3:23 which says 'for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God'.
Nigerian leaders have done soo many things wrong to the living God. They have sinned against God which has brought this unbelievable things happening in all parts of the country.
Some months ago, many able men of God warned against all manners of evil doings and purposes but they never listened. They prediction a state of randomness but the leaders doubted them because they are not Christians. Now look at the outcome.
For the youths, be calm for now. Your voices have been heard. Your blood shaded on streets of Nigeria will not be for waste.
Even as you're protesting, acknowledge the Lord in all you do just like what we have in Proverbs 3:5-6: which says;

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." Source

Many will use this opportunity to do more evil as the protest has been successfully hijacked by hoodlums. They will mask like peaceful protesters, hopefully there will be weak people around to deal with.
Do not listen to those leaders that make fun of this condition. They'll lie and make mockery of you. Remember that the Bible said in Matthew 12:36 that on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word. Take not of this verse.
Encourage those that have been wounded. Mourn with those that loss their loved ones during the protest. God knows the best for Nigeria. It will only take some time to come.
Pray for peace in Nigeria with one another.
Next time, vote wisely. It doesn't matter the ethnic group.
Avoid to be used as thugs for hijacking ballot boxes. You'll be doing yourself more harm than good if another bad leader gets in again.
May God help us all in Jesus name, amen.

Prayer

Oh the living God, your children have come before you this day, Lord we ask you today to heal our land as we've humbled ourselves to you, curse our leaders to listen and adhere to your words and commands, bring peace back to this country, this we pray in Jesus name, amen.
