Greetings dear friends of #familyFriends, Today I want to share with you a beautiful day at the beach that we enjoyed, taking advantage of the last days of vacation and the moments of being together you have to take advantage of them since they are moments that I love and enjoy very much.
We had planned to go to Valdes beach, which is a small and quiet beach, ideal for families with small children. If you are lucky, the fishermen who frequent the shore often give away fresh fish when they return from their days at sea. However, to our surprise, access to this beach was closed for improvements at the time. We decided to head for nearby Caracola.
Saludos queridos amigos de #familyFriends, Hoy deseo compartir con ustedes un precioso día de playa que disfrutamos, aprovechando los últimos días de vacaciones y los momentos de estar juntos hay que aprovecharlos ya que son momentos que amo y disfruto mucho.
Teníamos planeado ir a la playa Valdés, que es una playa pequeña y tranquila, ideal para familias con niños pequeños. Si tienes suerte, los pescadores que frecuentan la orilla a menudo regalan pescados frescos al volver de sus jornadas en el mar. Sin embargo, para nuestra sorpresa, el acceso a esta playa estaba cerrado por mejoras en ese momento. Decidimos entonces dirigirnos hacia la cercana Caracola.
As I mentioned earlier, our son loves strong waves on the beaches, so we returned to Caracola, also known as Playa Moreno. Our goal was to enjoy together the wonderful smell of the ocean and the hypnotic sound of its waves. This particular beach has parts of its shore covered by stones polished by the erosive action of the sea, which create a peculiar sound when they collide with each other as the water recedes.
Como mencioné anteriormente, a nuestro hijo le encanta el oleaje fuerte en las playas, así que regresamos a la Caracola, conocida también como Playa Moreno. Nuestro objetivo era disfrutar juntos del maravilloso aroma del océano y del sonido hipnótico de sus olas. Esta playa en particular tiene partes de su orilla cubiertas por piedras pulidas por la acción erosiva del mar, las cuales crean un peculiar sonido al chocar entre sí al retirarse el agua.
Playa Moreno is one of the longest beaches on the island, approximately 4 kilometers long according to what a local fisherman told us. Unlike other beaches, it does not have many trees to provide shade; however, it has ample space to park vehicles and enjoy with the family.
Playa Moreno es una de las más extensas de la isla, con aproximadamente 4 kilómetros de longitud según lo que nos contó un pescador local. A diferencia de otras playas, no cuenta con muchos árboles que proporcionen sombra; sin embargo, dispone de amplio espacio para estacionar vehículos y disfrutar en familia.
Another peculiar aspect of this beach is the presence of the Farallon in front of it. In the distance you can make out this imposing geographical feature that offers a beautiful and intriguing view. According to stories from fishermen near the Farallon, its transparent waters are full of corals; so someday I will have to venture out on a boat and visit this fascinating place.
Otro aspecto peculiar de esta playa es la presencia del Farallón frente a ella. A lo lejos se divisa este imponente accidente geográfico que ofrece una vista hermosa e intrigante. Según relatos de pescadores cercanos al Farallón, sus aguas transparentes están repletas de corales; así que algún día deberé aventurarme en un bote y visitar este lugar fascinante.
Day after day, a multitude of people visit Moreno Beach not to swim because of its rough waves, but to exercise outdoors. This beach is closed to vehicles from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, established to practice different physical activities such as running, biking or simply breathing the sea air safely, making this place a true sports oasis.
Recently they have built an ecological park where you can exercise your muscles using various equipment, adding more options to stay active while enjoying the natural environment.
Día tras día, multitud de personas visitan Playa Moreno no para bañarse dada su agitado oleaje, sino para ejercitarse al aire libre. Esta playa cierra el paso vehicular en el horario comprendido de 4:00pm a 7:00pm, establecidos para practicar diferentes actividades físicas como correr, montar bicicleta o simplemente respirar el aire marino con seguridad, hacen de este lugar un verdadero oasis deportivo.
Recientemente han construido un parque ecológico donde se puede ejercitar los músculos utilizando diversos aparatos, sumando así más opciones para mantenerse activo mientras se disfruta del entorno natural.
Although I personally prefer not to venture too much into the deep waves due to my personal tastes, I am always willing to compromise with my family to ensure that we can all enjoy together at different times according to our individual preferences and we can all have an enjoyable time where we like it best.
Aunque personalmente prefiero no aventurarme demasiado en las olas profundas debido a mis gustos personales, siempre estoy dispuesta a comprometerme con mi familia para asegurar que todos podamos disfrutar juntos en distintos momentos según nuestras preferencias individuales y todos podamos pasar un momento agradable dónde más nos guste.
To complete our stay and enjoy without thinking about the hours, we carried our food and enjoyed it while appreciating the sea and the surroundings.
Para completar nuestra estancia y disfrutar sin pensar en las horas , cargamos con nuestra comida y la disfrutamos mientras apreciamos el mar y todo el entorno.
It was without a doubt a magnificent day and we have no complaints whatsoever. I hope you enjoyed our tour of Playa Moreno as much as we did experiencing it and I decided to share it here with you.
