Es un día para dar un mimo al corazón de las personas que amamos con pequeños detalles que no necesariamente deben ser materiales. Yo soy de las que piensa que una nota, una flor, un mensaje nacido del corazón tiene mucho más valor que el regalo más costoso (por lo menos para mí lo es). Yo caigo derretida de amor con las notas que me dejan mis hijos, y no sólo el día del amor y la amistad, sino un día cualquiera, ya que ellos de manera expontanea viven dejándome notitas de amor por toda la casa y son cosas que atesoro como el regalo más costoso del mundo y sin lugar a dudas no hay regalo más grande que saber que soy amada por ellos. Así que por éstos lados sí que lo celebramos pero no con grandes regalos sino con salidas especiales, o sea, a comer jajaja. But yesterday, finally after three long weeks my husband arrived and to not waste time we went today to celebrate our day of love, a little bit delayed but grateful to God for being able to be together again the 4 of us.
Hace unos 3 años el día del amor y la amistad lo celebramos el 15 o el 16 pues para nosotros es un día de trabajo, ya que gracias a nuestro emprendimiento Detallitos Dulces hacemos de cupido el 14 de Febrero y la verdad que es sumamente hermoso poder llevar amor a otros por medio de nuestros detalles. Éste año me tocó súper complicado pues mi esposo estaba de viaje y no tomé muchos pedidos para no enloquecer entre la casa, las tareas de los niños, las entregas y mi actividad en Hive (que ahora también ocupa parte de mis días). Así que decidí tomarlo con calma.
El 14 mi día inició tempranito preparando todo para entregar lo que tenía pendiente y ése día
se estrenaron de cupido mi gran amiga Celina y mi cuñado Josmar quienes me ayudaron a realizar las entregas. El resto del día transcurrió en casa con mis niños y con mucha nostalgia todos porque mi esposo estaba lejos de casa. Así que para hacer algo especial aunque no estaba José, nos organizamos con Celina para el día 16 celebrar el día del amor y la amistad con ella y su hijo Gabriel (el mejor amigo de Miranda, mi hija menor), cosa que no pudimos hacer ya que ése mismo día iniciaron con los síntomas de la variante ómicron de la covid19, así que los planes fueron cancelados. Pero el día de ayer, al fiiiin después de tres largas semanas llegó mi esposo y para no perder tiempo nos fuimos hoy mismo a celebrar nuestro día del amor un poquito retrasado pero agradecidos con Dios por poder estar juntos nuevamente los 4.

Sushi is one of our favorite foods, even our children's since they were very little but it is something that lately we don't eat often because it is very expensive. In fact we hadn't been there for a long time, but Celina told me that they had some great promotions in the place we like so we went there after a long time to enjoy it with my Valentines.

Así que nos fuimos a "La Vela", un centro comercial de nuestra bella Isla que es el favorito de nuestros hijos y sin mucha vuelta fuimos directo a comer porque íbamos súper tarde!! El Sushi es una de nuestras comidas favoritas, incluso la de nuestros niños desde muy pequeñitos, pero es algo que últimamente no comemos con frecuencia porque es muy costoso. De hecho teníamos bastante tiempo sin ir, pero resulta que Celina me comentó que tenían unas promociones buenísimas y justamente en el lugar que nos gusta así que ahí fuimos después de mucho tiempo a disfrutar con mis Valentines.
The restaurant is called Bonsái and I really like the Sambil branch much better, it is much bigger and cozier, but since my kids don't go out because of the covid issue and they really like La Vela, we wanted to please them. Sambil, es un poco más grande y más acogedora pero como mis niños por el tema covid no salen prácticamente y les gusta mucho la Vela, quisimos complacerlos. Además que la comida tiene la misma calidad y a fin de cuentas no es el lugar sino con quién estás. Y yo no podía estar en mejor compañía.
I can't tell you who was more excited about Sushi, the kids or me hahaha. I really wanted to go there for a long time so I was like a kid with a new toy as they say here! The place is tiny but very nice, more like fast food than the other one. One thing I loved was that inside there was almost no one but they were scattered around the fair and at one point we were alone inside the place. And as Celina told me they had some excellent promotions, there is one from Monday to Thursday and another exclusive promo for Tuesday, so we took advantage of both! We ordered a Tokyo and Tiger Roll for the kids and a Dragon Roll for us.
No sé decirles quién estaba más entusiasmado con el tema del Sushi, si los niños o yo jajaja. De verdad que hace muchísimo tenía ganas de ir, así que estaba como niño con juguete nuevo como dicen aquí! El local es pequeñito pero muy lindo, más tipo de comida rápida que el otro. Una cosa que me encantó fue que dentro no había casi nadie sino que estaban dispersos por la feria y en un punto estábamos solitos dentro del local. Y tal como me dijo Celina tenían unas promociones excelentes, hay una de Lunes a Jueves y otra promo exclusiva para el día martes así que aprovechamos las dos!! Pedimos un Tokio y un Tiger Roll para los niños y para nosotros un Dragón Roll.

Obviously we exchanged pieces and ate a little bit of each one and the truth is that I could see that they continue to have the same quality which was something that worried me a little because here lately the premise is that "less cost equals lower quality" but nothing to see! Roles of good size with enough filling, delicious sauces and the truth is that they were exquisite! The kids were ecstatic and so was the mom hahaha. Between conversations and stories we passed the time while we enjoyed our delicious food. Miraculously the kids stopped (they never do if they like food) because it was actually a good amount and their plate had 12 roles so you can imagine! Obviously I didn't mind them leaving as it was more for me haha.

Roles de buen tamaño con suficiente relleno, unas salsas deliciosas y la verdad estaban exquisitos! Los niños estaban extasiados al igual que la mamá jajaja. Y así entre conversaciones y cuentos se nos pasó el rato mientas disfrutábamos de nuestra deliciosa comida. Milagrosamente los niños dejaron (nunca lo hacen si les gusta la comida) pero en realidad no podían más! Porque como les dije era una buena cantidad y el plato de ellos tenía 12 roles así que se podrán imaginar! Obviamente no me molestó que dejaran ya que era más para mí jaja.

Una vez terminamos de comer, caminamos un poco por el centro comercial y seguimos a realizar algunas diligencias pendientes. Y ya en el carro pensaba que realmente no necesitamos gran cosa para ser felices, nos gusta complicarnos la vida y es tan fácil ser feliz. A veces esperamos para armar el plan perfecto, ir al lugar más "top" del momento y nos olvidamos que lo importante no es el lugar, no es lo que comemos, sino quién está a nuestro lado. No hay nada más placentero y que llene más nuestro corazón que estar con las personas que amamos. La verdad que hoy estaba muy agradecida de ver a mi familia junta otra vez, por gozar de buena salud y poder tomar un tiempo para estar juntos nuevamente ya que cuando mi esposo viaja es medio traumático para todos en casa, estamos incompletos, así que estar juntos otra vez es motivo de mucha felicidad pero sobre todo de agradecimiento a Dios por la bendición de tenernos.
