There are opportunities that should be taken advantage of and even more so when the Family is available. On this occasion we made the decision to make a family and outing Saturday, something different to break the routine and try to clear the mind a little, sometimes it is necessary to have an internal tranquility.
Bienvenidos a mi espacio… Hay oportunidades que se deben aprovechar y más aún cuando está en disposición la Familia. En esta oportunidad tomamos la decisión para hacer un sábado familiar y de paseo, algo distinto para romper la rutina y tratar de despejar un poco la mente, a veces es necesario para tener una tranquilidad interna.
So it was, today we went for a walk to the Mérida Zoo, which more than a zoo, is a magical place full of vegetation, lots of green, waterfalls, typical food, you can breathe fresh air inside the city.
More than 10 years without going and I was really a little amazed at the care and how wonderful it is, it's not for nothing, but the facilities, despite the country's situation, are in excellent condition.
I want to tell you that I really went because as a child it was my weekend walks with my cousins and uncles, but time passes and everyone takes their own path, so now my walks are with my son, which are really spectacular with his occurrences of eight years.
Así fue, hoy nos fuimos de paseo al Zoológico de Mérida, que más que un zoológico, es un lugar mágico lleno de vegetación, mucho color verde, cascadas, comida típica, se respira aire puro dentro de la ciudad.
Mas de 10 años sin ir y de verdad que me quede un poco asombrado del cuidado y de lo maravilloso que esta, no es por nada, pero las instalaciones a pesar de la situación País están en excelente estado.
Quiero comentarles que realmente fui por que de niño era mis paseos de fin de semana junto a mis primos y tíos, pero el tiempo pasa y cada quien tomo su camino distinto, así que hora mis paseos son con mi hijo, que de verdad son espectaculares con sus ocurrencias de ocho años.
Well, I'll tell you a little review of the Mérida Zoo The Chorros de Milla Zoological Park is an urban zoological garden located at 1850 meters above sea level in the extreme northeast of the city of Mérida, Venezuela with native species of the Andean region and Venezuela. With an area of 10 hectares, an average temperature of 16 °C and crossed by the Milla River, the Mérida Zoo was built in 1958, the Chorros de Milla Zoo is located in a valley that is continuous with the Cordillera de Mérida through the Páramo Los Conejos, from where the waters of the Milla River are born. Bueno, les cuento una pequeña reseña del Zoológico de Mérida El Parque Zoológico Chorros de Milla es un jardín zoológico urbano situado a 1850 msnm en el extremo noreste de la ciudad de Mérida, Venezuela con especies autóctonas de la región andina y de Venezuela. Con un terreno de 10 hectáreas, temperatura promedio de 16 °C y surcado por el río Milla, el zoológico de Mérida fue construido en 1958, el Zoológico Chorros de Milla está ubicado en un valle que hace continuidad con la Cordillera de Mérida a través del Páramo Los Conejos, de donde nacen las aguas del río Milla. A poca distancia en el extremo norte del parque el río Milla se transforma en una bella cascada, que constituye uno de los atractivos del parque. Además de los animales, el zoológico cuenta con lagunas artificiales, escalinatas, caminos, quioscos, espacios para pícnic y unas 2000 especies de plantas.

Son pocas las fotografías que tomé hoy, por que de verdad fui a sentir la naturaleza, a respirar aire puro, a despegarme un poco de la rutina y la tecnología, realmente a ser más humano, lo necesitaba. El recorrido lo hicimos en 5 horas a paso lento para observar cada detalle, el color, el aire, la temperatura, los animales (cabe resaltar que el estado de los animales es excelente) adema que mi mama ya necesita descansar cada cierto tramo por que el piso es de piedra y siempre cansa, además que tiene en algunas partes escalones con diferentes niveles a altura, pero cada parada era ir detallando cada parte del parque que te daba a entender lo mágico y espectacular que es la naturaleza y que por estar encerrados detrás de un teclado o un teléfono dejamos a un lado tanta belleza.

We will return to that magnificent place where I have such great memories as a child with my family, indelible and unforgettable memories that will not return but that rest in my mind as if it were yesterday.
En fin, un sábado diferente, ahora mi hijo no para de comentar todo lo que vio, los animales, los colores la naturaleza y no lo creerán cada 10 minutos me pregunta cuando vamos a ir nuevamente y mi respuesta es cuando tu quieras y ya me hizo prometerle que el próximo fin de semana volveremos.
Volveremos a ese magnifico lugar donde tengo tan grandes recuerdo de niño con mi familia, Recuerdos imborrables e inolvidables que no volverán pero que en mi mente reposan como si fuera ayer.
