Every hardwork will always be paid off. Indeed, it will be. Especially for all the work you put into your studies.
Here in the Philippines, the month of May is the month where school ends and every school celebrates recognition and graduation day.
My son finished his third grade and I so lucky he still finished with honors which makes me so proud.
This is the program they provided everyone which contains the flow of the overall ceremony. Every student is given a program.
Third on the list is my son, Jacob. I am so proud of how he maintains good grades at school and I couldn’t be prouder.
We proudly claimed his ribbons and certificate and put on his medal. You can clearly see how proud and happy he is as we stood by the stage.
As parents, it is very important that we always show up in our children’s special events like this one because it makes our children happy and it boosts their self esteem knowing that their parents are proud of them.
Here is a close-up look at my son and the recognition he received. He posed with so much pride and happiness knowing that he has been rewarded for his good work.
We prepared a simple recognition day dinner for him. We prepared all his favorite foods and invited our friends and family over to join us.
Instead of soda, we prepared buko juice (coconut and milk). This was the perfect drink to quench our thirst. It is best drank cold.
We also have some squid that we sauted with onion and garlic and added some sauce. I really love this dish.
We also prepared lumpia which is a combination of ground pork and vegetables. This is a Filipino favorite and we have this whenever there are special occasions.
We also prepared fried chicken which is everyone’s favorite. It is one of the fastest viand to cook and the kids loved it so much.
We also had grilled fish that was best paired with soy sauce.
We shared our food with our family and friends. All thanks to my partner who prepared all the foods for us.
As parents, all we ever want is our children to do well in life especially in their studies. It is our responsibility to guide them to the right path.
As young as my son is now, I always remind him of the value of doing well in school and that all that he does is for his future and nobody else’s.
Success is best shared with family and friends indeed. If there are people who will be happy with our success, they are our family.
To more wins in life! Ciao!☺︎♡
