Anyway, let me tell you about Christian, whom we call Talyo. He was a kind and helpful person, always ready to lend a hand whenever you needed it. Everyone in our town knows him. He was the fifth son of his parents and was 22 years old, still in his 11th grade in senior high school.

Unfortunately, his mother didn't care about him and he didn't have a penny to go to school. But despite the challenges he faced, he was very motivated to finish his senior high school and have a comfortable life.

We were amazed at how well he grew up, even in difficult circumstances. Talyo was always there whenever you needed him. He would help you without asking for anything in return. This man deserved everything.

One time, his friends and my friends planned a surprise for him. I couldn't imagine that they would agree with it, but the best thing that I heard from his friend was, "Yes, we are on it. Talyo deserves it and we love him." Having a friend like this was a blessing from above.

Their friendship had no boundaries, even if Talyo didn't have anything to give when they had a gathering or anything that they did. They accepted Talyo without judging him and always made ways so that Talyo wouldn't feel pity just because he couldn't give.

On Talyo's 21st birthday, he cooked his pet chicken just to have something on his birthday that he could offer to his friends. I told his friends that we would celebrate together at Talyo's house while we were preparing everything for his surprise.

While they were in Talyo's house, celebrating and sharing Talyo's food for his birthday, my friends and I were decorating the gym where we were going to surprise him. We put up the foil curtain that we bought, together with balloons and a numbered balloon. We went step-by-step to put up the decorations. Since it was Talyo's debut, we wanted to make it memorable for him.

The neighbourhood gave us some bread, cooked pancit, chicken, and soft drinks, which completed our surprise for him. After that, one of our friends got some eggs to smash on his head.

Once we were done with all the decorations and food, we immediately contacted one of Talyo's friends to bring him to the gym. We put a blindfold on him so that he would not see the surprise.

"When he arrived at the gym, we were all teary-eyed as we suddenly realized that he knew his friends had something planned for him, without knowing that a lot of people were involved. When he removed his blindfold, we immediately sang him a birthday song. His tears started flowing, and we could feel how much he appreciated our effort. He gave us a message expressing his gratitude for having us.

He thank each one of us everyone that involved, He give us story about life that even he won't able to have a party like everyone else because his parent can't afford for it all that he knows was their parents love them and that what makes a birthday special its not about what the food in the table or the decoration but its about how makes you have on your special day was matter.

It was his first birthday where he would have a cake and blow out his own candle. A decoration just for him and had people who celebrated his birthday with him. He wouldn't have to wash dishes or help anyone else with their gathering. He wouldn't have to watch someone else slice their cake and wish that someday he could make a wish on his own cake.

"We felt fulfilled that we were able to fulfill Talyo's dream, even in something as simple as a surprise. It wasn't an extravagant surprise, but it will leave a lasting memory.

After Talyo's speech, we took pictures together. The most heart-melting thing that happened on Talyo's birthday was when we posted his birthday surprise on Facebook. People in our town greeted him with birthday comments, expressing how much he deserves everything.

Without us knowing, that day, he also received surprises from his teacher. All of the teachers in his school bought him a cake and a pair of basketball shoes, and someone else gave him a pair of sneakers and a t-shirt. Maybe his parents wanted to throw him a birthday party, but they didn't have enough money. However, if you are kind to someone, God will return it to you multiple times and will send people to give it to you."

"Sometimes it is better to spread kindness to one another. We appreciate when one of our siblings takes the time to chat with each of us, thanking us and acknowledging our kindness through Talyo's. Money should not be a hindrance to spreading kindness to one another.

By doing so, we were able to make Christian's 21st birthday more memorable. People from around the venue came out to their house and joined us in celebrating his special day.

Always remember to spread positivity, kindness, and be the light that brightens the way."
