En esta oportunidad les quiero compartir una sencilla pero emotiva celebración de mi cumpleaños número 63, que mi esposa @morepina y mi hija @mjpacheco prepararon para disfrutar conjuntamente con mis vecinos de la urbanización.

Mi cumpleaños fue ayer y por ser día lunes, muy atravesado, tenía que trabajar y por eso mi esposa se dedicó al final de la tarde a pepararme una torta de tres leches, que me gusta mucho, para cantar cumpleaños en la noche.

Nosotros tenemos una devoción todos los lunes a las 8 de la noche, de rezar el rosario con varias vecinas. Allí aprovechamos de dar gracias a Dios por cada momento vivido y pedimos por la salud y bienestar de familiares, amigos y por toda la comunidad en general, El hecho de cumplir años un lunes no iba a impedir esta devoción, al contrario, integramos una acción de gracias por este nuevo año que el Señor me concede para vivir.

Al terminar el rosario, mi esposa invitó a las vecinas a cantar mi cumpleaños y picar la torta acompañada de unas sangrías y unos refrescos. Ellas se quedaron un rato más conversando y riéndonos de algunas situaciones divertidas de nuestro diario vivir.

A mi nunca me han gustado las celebraciones pomposas sino algo sencillo para dar gracias por la vida y por la vida familiar.

Fue un rato agradable que pasé con mi familia y mis vecinas, que también las considero parte de mi familia porque compartimos mucha espiritualidad y compañerismo.

In this opportunity I want to share with you a simple but emotional celebration of my 63rd birthday, that my wife @morepina and my daughter @mjpacheco prepared to enjoy together with my neighbors of the urbanization.

My birthday was yesterday and because it was a very busy Monday, I had to work and that's why my wife dedicated herself at the end of the afternoon to bake me a tres leches cake, which I like very much, to sing my birthday at night.

We have a devotion every Monday night at 8:00 p.m., to pray the rosary with several neighbors. There we take the opportunity to thank God for every moment lived and pray for the health and welfare of family, friends and the whole community in general. The fact of having a birthday on a Monday would not prevent this devotion, on the contrary, we integrate a thanksgiving for this new year that the Lord gives me to live.

At the end of the rosary, my wife invited the neighbors to sing my birthday and nibble on the cake accompanied by some sangrias and soft drinks. They stayed a while longer chatting and laughing about some funny situations of our daily life.

I have never liked pompous celebrations but something simple to give thanks for life and family life.

It was a nice time spent with my family and my neighbors, who I also consider part of my family because we share a lot of spirituality and fellowship.
