Hace unos días festejamos el cumpleaños de una de mis primas, Maxoris. La celebración era sorpresa, mi tía me pidió un refresco para colaborar con el cumpleaños y yo obviamente accedí.
Les dije que me esperaran porque yo estaba en el trabajo y llegaba un poco más tarde, me dijeron que sí que esperarían.
Al salir de la Academia tomé los refrescos y esperé que me pasaran buscando para llevarme a casa, mis primos me dan la cola casi a diario y eso me ayuda mucho a no gastar tanto pasaje.
Mientras íbamos de camino, conversabamos de diferentes cosas para hacer más ameno el viaje.

A few days ago we celebrated the birthday of one of my cousins, Maxoris. The celebration was a surprise, my aunt asked me for a soft drink to help with the birthday and I obviously agreed.
I told them to wait for me because I was at work and I was arriving a little later, they said yes they would wait.
When I left the Academy I took the refreshments and waited for them to pick me up to take me home, my cousins give me the cola almost every day and that helps me a lot to not spend so much money.
While we were on the way, we talked about different things to make the trip more enjoyable.
Cuando llegué todas mis primas estaban ahí esperando que la torta llegara.
La cumpleañera no sabía nada, era todo una sorpresa.
Pero, como siempre, alguien tiene que arruinarla jajaja, en este caso fue la misma organizadora quién arruinó la sorpresa. Conversando con las demás mujeres hizo el comentario de que ''es que aún la torta no llega''.
Todas nos quedamos en shock cuando lo dijo sin saber que hacer, la cumpleañera solo la miró y dijo: ''¿hay torta?'' y tuvimos que explicarle que habíamos planificado un cumpleaños sorpresa para ella.
Le dijimos que actuara sorprendida cuando viera la torta y ella entre risas accedió.
When I arrived all my cousins were there waiting for the cake to arrive.
The birthday girl didn't know anything, it was all a surprise.
But, as always, someone has to ruin it hahaha, in this case it was the organizer herself who ruined the surprise. Talking to the other women she made the comment that ''the cake hasn't arrived yet''.
We were all shocked when she said it and didn't know what to do, the birthday girl just looked at her and said ''is there a cake?'' and we had to explain to her that we had planned a surprise birthday for her.
We told her to act surprised when she saw the cake and she laughingly agreed.
Ella recibió la torta muy emocionada porque al final, no esperaba que planificaramos esto para ella.
Pero teníamos que hacerlo, su esposo está fuera del país ella está solo con sus hijos y es una persona que siempre está dispuesta a ayudar a todos en la familia y nosotros somos muy partidarios de celebrar los cumpleaños de todos, porque todos somos importantes.
Mi familia con todo y sus errores es bastante unida, siempre estamos en los malos momentos y en los buenos mucho más. Sabemos que en cualquier situación podemos tener una mano ayuda en nuestros familiares.
Este año ha sido fuerte para nuestra familia pero, tratamos de resaltar los buenos momentos y olvidarnos por un rato de los problemas.
Mi prima repartió unos refrescos y unos pastelitos para compartir entre todos antes de cantar el cumpleaños. Nosotros seguíamos compartiendo entre risas porque eso si nos caracteriza, la risa.

But we had to do it, her husband is out of the country, she is alone with her children and she is a person who is always willing to help everyone in the family and we are very much in favor of celebrating everyone's birthday, because we are all important.
My family with all its mistakes is very united, we are always together in the bad times and in the good times even more. We know that in any situation we can have a helping hand in our relatives.
This year has been hard for our family, but we try to highlight the good times and forget about the problems for a while.
My cousin handed out some refreshments and cupcakes for everyone to share before singing the birthday song. We continued to share with laughter because that is what characterizes us, laughter.
Después de compartir los pastelitos y el refresco y esperar que terminaran de llegar quienes estaban trabajando todavía, decidimos cantar el cumpleaños.
Llamamos a sus hijos para que se tomaran las fotos y estuvieran ahí con su mamá.
Ella se veía bastante feliz con la sorpresa y eso era lo que queríamos.
No pude grabar el cumpleaños porque mi teléfono se apagó, pero logré tomar unas fotos antes.

After sharing cupcakes and refreshments and waiting for those who were still working to finish arriving, we decided to sing the birthday song.
We called their children to take pictures and be there with their mom.
She looked pretty happy with the surprise and that's what we wanted.
I wasn't able to record the birthday because my phone went out, but I managed to take some pictures beforehand.
