I don't know when or how I can visit or probably reside in this place if God is willing. But right now I would just grab the opportunity to blog and write one of the spotlights of Auckland, City of New Zealand.
It is a good thing to have my aunt and her family in this place because I can ask for some nice photographs they've taken during their bonding moment.
Last Sunday February 4, 2024 my aunt's family had their day out in "Cedel Downs SUNflower Patch." The family together with their kababayan and also residents of the place were their companions.
Trully, that the wonders of God's creation is shown before our very eyes. But don't you know that these people have created a journey unshown from our eyes before they reach this far?
These people have stories untold. Stories of hardships, hunger, rejection, judgement, depression, and hoplessness but have fought on their dreams and never give up.
SHORT STORY FLASHBACK
We may see them so happy with their nice houses, cars, etc. but decades ago they had lived quite the contrary. Just like mommy inday my aunt, she lived in a squatter's area. Mama and mommy inday resided in Butuanon Riverside Maguikay Mandaue City when they were young.
As storied by mama, a few times the place was put on fire due to cooking recklessness and natural calamity etc. Many times too they were asked to leave the place since they were illegal settlers but they had no place to go to. Later they transferred addresses due to lolo's kind of work until they went back to Tabuelan. From there she and her family were blessed to have the opportunity to reside in New Zealand.

"ASPIRANT, ME"
Dreaming and aspiring to have a bright future for my parents and brother. I want to help them with their life's struggles. I want mama and papa to be happy especially my papa because he is a pwd yet working so hard for us.
We don't know what tomorrow has instore for us. Nevertheless if we keep our faith and humility before our Creator, rest assured that bright years are ahead of us. As the SUN shimmers its radiant light and fills the world with another brand new day stuffed with hope and promises fulfilled.
That would be all for now. Thanks mga ka hive for dropping by. God bless. 😇
Note: The last photo is mine, while the rest of the photos are owned by my aunt, with her consent to be used in my blog.
