Hola Hivers, ¿Que tal su semana? Este fin de semana fue muy deportivo para mi y también agotador. Toda la semana me estuve preparando para 3 actividades en la que serÃa la recreadora de muchos jóvenes, pero empecemos con la primera ‘‘Las Olimpiadas de la Juventud’’ (un evento deportivo de la iglesia a la que asisto) y mi más grande responsabilidad en la mañana. Me toco preparar el refrigerio, organizar al equipo y llevarlos a la competencia, debo decir que, si fue divertido. Bueno comencé el viernes a preparar el jugo para los chicos, compre frutas, caramelos, galletas y prepare el termo de agua para el dÃa siguiente.
Hi Hivers, How was your week? This weekend was very sporty for me and also exhausting. All week I was preparing for 3 activities in which I would be the recreationist for many young people, but let's start with the first one ''The Youth Olympics'' (a sporting event of the church I attend), and my biggest responsibility in the morning. I had to prepare the refreshments, organize the team and take them to the competition, I must say, it was fun. Well, I started on Friday to prepare juice for the kids, bought fruit, candy, and biscuits, and prepared a thermos of water for the next day.
El sábado bien temprano recogà todas las cosas para salir a las olimpiadas, estas se realizaron en Ciudad Alianza. Nos reunimos todos en el punto d encuentro y tomamos el autobús. Al llegar hubo una pequeña devocional de 20 minutos y comenzaron a organizar los equipos por colores; el color de mis jóvenes fue el lila. Se colocaron los chalecos y empezaron a calentar para jugar en el primer torneo ‘‘Voleibol’’. Ellos fueron el primer equipo en abrir el juego, sus contrincantes eran muy buenos. En el equipo de nosotros estaban mis hermanas (cabe destacar que ellas son muy malas para el voleibol). Debo admitir que el primer tiempo lo perdimos y el segundo… lo ganamos, llegando al tercero que también ganamos, asà que pasaron a las semifinales.
Early on Saturday morning I picked up all the things to go to the Olympics, which were held in Ciudad Alianza. We all met at the meeting point and took the bus. When we arrived there was a small devotional of 20 minutes and they started to organize the teams by colors, The color of my young people was lilac. They put on their waistcoats and started warming up to play in the first ''Volleyball'' tournament. They were the first team to open the game, their opponents were very good. On our team were my sisters (it should be noted that they are very bad at volleyball). I must admit that we lost the first half and the second... we won the second half, and going into the third half we also won, so they went through to the semi-finals.
En la final del partido, el equipo rival gana el primer tiempo (perdiendo nuestro equipo por 3 puntos). En el segundo tiempo nuestro equipo pierde otra vez siendo el equipo azul el ganador. Triste, pero los chicos lo superaron rápido. Comenzaron los preparativos de la revancha, ahora fue el momento para el torneo de fútbol, aquà si les digo que los muchachos se defienden más con esta disciplina, son muy buenos en fútbol. Cabe destacar que antes de la final habÃa olvidado comprarles algunos cambures para que tuvieran algo en el estómago antes del almuerzo, me toco correr por 8 minutos hasta el mercado más cercano y regresar corriendo porque querÃa ver el partido. Son mis chicos, mi equipo tenÃa que darles animo (mucho). Los chicos hicieron su mejor esfuerzo, llegaron a semifinales.
In the final of the match, the opposing team wins the first half (losing our team by 3 points). In the second half, our team loses again with the blue team being the winners. Sad, but the boys got over it quickly. The preparations for the rematch started, and now it was time for the football tournament, here I can tell you that the boys are very good at football, they are very good at this discipline. It is worth noting that before the final I had forgotten to buy them some bananas so that they would have something in their stomachs before lunch, I had to run for 8 minutes to the nearest market and run back because I wanted to watch the match. They are my boys, my team had to cheer them up (a lot). The boys did their best, they made it to the semi-finals.
Fue algo difÃcil el desenlace del partido, pero estos chicos lograron llegar a penales. Debo admitir que pensé que perderÃamos, pero sus brújulas internas no están dañadas, lo cual es muy bueno. No fallaron ninguno de los 5 penales (GANAMOSSSSSS CHICOS)… orgullosa de mis muchachos les tome una foto de equipo. Si, debo admitir que se defendieron muy bien, además que ellos estaban esperando ganar querÃan su revancha (estaban en la final con el mismo equipo que les gano en voleibol),y no podÃamos dejarlos ganar.
It was a tough way to end the game, but these guys made it to penalties. I have to admit I thought we would lose, but their internal compasses are not damaged, which is very good. They didn't miss any of the 5 penalty kicks (WE WON!)...proud of my boys I took a team photo of them. Yes, I must admit they defended very well, plus they were expecting to win They wanted their revenge (they were in the final with the same team that beat them in volleyball), and we couldn't let them win.
Bueno, fue un juego exitoso, los muchachos recibieron su trofeo y un balón de la disciplina que ganaron (un nuevo balón de fútbol), que nos hacÃa falta ya que el otro estaba muy viejo. Lloramos el de voleibol, pero recibimos uno de fútbol, no termino tan mal. Ahora tengo que prepararlos para las próximas olimpiadas en noviembre (mejoraremos el voleo) y espero que ganemos.
Well, it was a successful game, the boys received their trophy and a ball for the discipline they won (a new football), which we needed as the other one was too old. We mourned the volleyball, but we got a football, it didn't end so badly. Now I have to prepare them for the next Olympics in November (we will improve our volleyball) and I hope we win.
