Poco a poco vamos volviendo a la rutina, aunque en mi casa ha sido domingo toda la semana, jajaja, y es que estamos recuperándonos de la gran fiesta que tuvimos el domingo, de la cual les vengo a hablar, porque si bien empezó como una reunión intima y familiar, una vez que revienta el año, nos pusimos a celebrar junto a los vecinos y tuvimos un fin de año muy divertido y ameno.

Little by little we are getting back to routine, although in my house it has been Sunday all week, hahaha, and we are recovering from the big party we had on Sunday, which I come to talk about, because although it started as an intimate and family gathering, once the year burst, we got to celebrate with the neighbors and we had a very fun and enjoyable end of the year.
Repitiendo un poco lo que son las rutinas en mi familia cuando es un día festivo, pasamos el día limpiando la casa, aunque en esta oportunidad mis hermanos fueron de gran ayuda y tuvieron bastantes tareas asignadas. Todo el día lo pasé como en una clase de trance emocional, pues no estaba listo para despedir el año.
Al llegar la noche me vestí con mi lindo estreno, que ansiaba ponerme, y me dispuse a sacarme las primeras selfies, mientras esperaba que llegara mi familia. Aunque, antes de iniciar mi sesión de fotos, mi mamá me dijo que ayudara a poner la mesa, así que, entre mi papá y yo, decoramos y preparamos las cosas, bebidas y comida. Pusimos los panes de jamón que preparó mi mamá, las deliciosas hallacas que comeríamos en la cena, la ensalada de pollo que ya había preparado mi tía, unos ricos chocolates que mi mamá compró para la ocasión, galletas con motivo navideño, y no podían faltar las botellas de vino, vino champanizado, ponche crema, ron y una cerveza friecita para completar.🍻
Repeating a little bit what the routines are in my family when it is a holiday, we spent the day cleaning the house, although this time my siblings were of great help and had quite a few chores assigned to them. The whole day was spent in a kind of emotional trance, as I was not ready to say goodbye to the year.
When the evening came, I got dressed in my cute new outfit, which I was looking forward to wearing, and got ready to take the first selfies, while waiting for my family to arrive. Although, before I started my photo shoot, my mom told me to help set the table, so, between my dad and I, we decorated and prepared things, drinks and food. We put the ham bread that my mom prepared, the delicious hallacas that we would eat at dinner, the chicken salad that my aunt had already prepared, some delicious chocolates that my mom bought for the occasion, cookies with Christmas motif, and we could not miss the bottles of wine, champagne wine, cream punch, rum and a cold beer to complete.🍻

Como era de esperarse, al llegar la familia, como todos estábamos estrenando ropa muy bonita, las fotos no se hicieron esperar. Ya yo me había sacado selfies individuales, pero era momento de unas bonitas fotos junto a mis hermanos, quienes estaban tan lindos como de costumbre, era momento de deslumbrar las redes sociales con nuestro encanto.
En esta oportunidad, ninguno tuvo su outfit parecido al del otro, pues mi hermano usó un suéter pero con camisa debajo, que le daba un toque más formal, y mi hermana usó un precioso vestido rojo.🎀
As expected, when the family arrived, as we were all wearing new beautiful clothes, the photos were not long in coming. I had already taken individual selfies, but it was time for some nice pictures with my siblings, who were as cute as usual, it was time to dazzle the social networks with our charm.
This time, none of them had a similar outfit to the other, as my brother wore a sweater but with a shirt underneath, which gave it a more formal touch, and my sister wore a beautiful red dress.🎀

Una vecina de nosotros, Yosiris, estuvo acá en casa para maquillarse junto a mi hermana, mientras todos nos alistábamos, nos perfumábamos y demás, en otras palabras, nos estábamos tuneando, jajaja. Al estar listos, le dije a Yosiris para sacarnos unas fotos con ella, además, como vive al lado, pasamos gran parte de la noche compartiendo y tomando juntos, esperando para recibir al año nuevo.🍷
A neighbor of ours, Yosiris, was here at home to do her make-up with my sister, while we all got ready, perfumed and so on, in other words, we were tuning each other, hahaha. When we were ready, I told Yosiris to take some pictures with her, besides, as she lives next door, we spent most of the night sharing and drinking together, waiting to welcome the New Year.🍷

En esta oportunidad fuimos considerablemente menos, a diferencia de navidad, pues en esta ocasión no vinieron Daniel junto a su esposa y sus dos niñas, tampoco Johalys (al menos no temprano), ni Dulcinea. A la hora de la cena solo fuimos mis padres, mis hermanos, mi tía María, mi tío Mito junto a su esposa e hijo, y ya, una cena más íntima.
Mientras Mariangel se estaba sacando unas fotos me metí de imprudente para robar cámara jajaja, pero lo gracioso fue que nuestro primito Miguel también se nos unió, y eventualmente Chemi quiso salir en la foto, así que el resultado fue genial.📸
This time there were considerably less of us, unlike Christmas, because this time Daniel and his wife and their two girls did not come, neither did Johalys (at least not early), nor Dulcinea. At dinner time it was just my parents, my siblings, my aunt Maria, my uncle Mito with his wife and son, and that was it, a more intimate dinner.
While Mariangel was taking some pictures of herself, I got in recklessly to steal the camera hahaha, but the funny thing was that our little cousin Miguel also joined us, and eventually Chemi wanted to be in the picture, so the result was great.📸

Me tomé una foto con los adultos Hernández que estábamos en la cena, es decir, mi tío, mi tía y mi mamita, y la verdad amé el resultado. Pero como cosa rara y no somos casi fotogénicos en casa, poco a poco se fueron incorporando el resto de la familia, cosa que me hizo estirar el brazo como si se tratara de un selfie stick, para poder salir todas esas caras preciosas.
A pesar del esfuerzo para sacar la selfie grupal, debo admitir que amé el resultado, y me dio risa algo que me dijo mi hermanita, dijo: En esa foto todos nos parecemos bastante.🎄
I took a picture with the Hernandez adults who were at dinner, that is, my uncle, my aunt and my mom, and I really loved the result. But as a rare thing and we are not almost photogenic at home, little by little the rest of the family joined in, which made me stretch my arm as if it were a selfie stick, so that all those beautiful faces could come out.

Me saqué fotos junto a mi mamá y mi tía, porque las amo de aquí hasta el final de los tiempos, y su presencia me hace sumamente feliz. En serio admiro de una manera enorme a ambas, y preservar el recuerdo junto a ellas a través de una foto en el último día de un año hermoso… pues, era primordial para mí.❤️

A las 11:10 PM fue que se nos ocurrió que sería bueno comer, y debo admitir que sentí que comimos súper tarde, pues ya faltaba menos de una hora para que empezara el año nuevo, y no quería recibir el año cenando.
El plato, exquisito como de costumbre, con su hallaca bien calientita, un pancito de jamón casero hecho por mi mamá con mucho amor, carne al horno elaborado por mi hermanita, mi mamá y yo, una ensalada de pollo que trajo mi tía con pedacitos de manzana verde incluidos y un buen vaso de refresco.
Además de eso, la selfie grupal antes de cenar y unas respectivas palabras de agradecimiento no se hicieron esperar, las palabras fueron lindas, emotivas y del corazón, perfectas para cerrar el 2023 con buenos ánimos y mucho amor.🍾
At 11:10 PM it occurred to us that it would be good to eat, and I must admit that I felt that we ate super late, because it was less than an hour before the New Year would begin, and I didn't want to receive the year with dinner.
The dish was exquisite as usual, with its warm hallaca, a homemade ham bread made by my mom with lots of love, baked meat prepared by my little sister, my mom and me, a chicken salad that my aunt brought with bits of green apple included and a nice glass of soda.
Besides that, the group selfie before dinner and the respective words of thanks were not long in coming, the words were nice, emotional and from the heart, perfect to close 2023 with good spirits and lots of love.🍾

Al reventar el año, no tomé fotos ni grabé los fuegos artificiales, porque estaba LLORANDO, me sentí muy emotivo al abrazar a todos de mi familia para empezar el año nuevo, cuando abracé con fuerza a mi mamá sentí que era un niño pequeño y las lágrimas me invadieron, pero fue un excelente cierre de año y una emotiva bienvenida al 2024.
Seguido de los abrazos, como buena tradición venezolana, empezó a sonar música de carnaval, Calipso y soca no tardaron en sonar en todas las cornetas, y ya no me sentía conmovido, me sentía eufórico y emocionado por todas las oportunidades que trae el nuevo año. ¡Ahora sí empezó la fiestota!
Llegó una de mis mejores amigas, Johalys, que luego de reventar el año se vino a mi casa para festejar.🕺🏻
As the year burst, I did not take pictures or record the fireworks, because I was CRYING, I felt very emotional as I hugged everyone in my family to start the new year, when I hugged my mom tightly I felt like a little boy and tears came to my eyes, but it was an excellent closing of the year and an emotional welcome to 2024.
After the hugs, as a good Venezuelan tradition, carnival music began to play, Calypso and soca soon sounded in all the horns, and I was no longer moved, I felt euphoric and excited for all the opportunities that the new year brings. Now the party really began!

Junto a mis vecinas empezó la fiesta, pues los vecinos del frente tenían música full volumen, así que junto a Yosiris grabamos un videíto mientras bailábamos y nos sentíamos sexys, y además, llegó Ronnimar, mi otra vecina del lado, para darnos el feliz año y, por supuesto, tomarnos unas fotos divinas donde nos viéramos bonitos y felices.💋
Together with my neighbors the party started, because the neighbors in front had full volume music, so together with Yosiris we recorded a little video while we were dancing and feeling sexy, and Ronnimar, my other next door neighbor, arrived to wish us a happy New Year and, of course, to take some divine pictures where we looked beautiful and happy.💋

Seguido de eso… bailamos.💃🏻
El alcohol, la euforia, la música y el baile se apoderaron de nosotros, que luego de que se fuera mi familia empezamos la verdadera fiesta en la calle, con la supervisión de mi mamá que también bailó con nosotros. Hasta limbo bailamos, fue prácticamente nuestra hora loca, y de verdad que es lo que quería para empezar el año, una gran fiesta, y amanecer de ser posible.
Empecé el año nuevo con las mejores vibras posibles, feliz y sonriente, un poquito ebrio y rodeado de excelentes personas, y así quiero pasar el resto del año. Oficialmente estamos en 2024 y estoy listo para más momentos con mi familia y amigos, más momentos de compartir, momentos de fiestas y sobre todo, momentos de amor.
Gracias por leerme, por estar aquí para leer mis ocurrencias, y espero de todo corazón que disfruten junto a mí este 2024, que siento que será un súper gran año para todos nosotros. ¡FELIZ AÑO!❣️

Alcohol, euphoria, music and dancing took over us, that after my family left we started the real party in the street, with the supervision of my mom who also danced with us. We even limbo danced, it was practically our crazy hour, and really that's what I wanted to start the year, a big party, and watch the sunrise if possible.
I started the New Year with the best possible vibes, happy and smiling, a little bit drunk and surrounded by great people, and that's how I want to spend the rest of the year. It is officially 2024 and I am ready for more moments with my family and friends, more moments of sharing, moments of parties and above all, moments of love.
