¡Hola Hola mis queridos de Hive! Espero tengan muy buenas noches o día hoy jajaja. Creo que el muchos estaremos de acuerdo en que cuando llega el mes de diciembre, este es el mes en el que más actividades tenemos. En mi trabajo he estado super full y ahora más porque hay en programación una serie de actividades que creo que estaré comiendo el día de la cena navideña y al mismo tiempo trabajando con el teléfono (aunque espero que no sea así la verdad). Pero el estar ocupada jamás me quitará el que vaya al cumpleaños de mi mejor amiga de la vida a quien conocí desde el primer día de la universidad hasta hoy que ya tenemos unos cuantos años de amistad.
Hello Hello my dear ones from Hive! I hope you have a very good night or day today hahaha. I think many of us will agree that when the month of December arrives, this is the month in which we have more activities. In my work I have been super full and now even more because there is a series of activities scheduled that I think I will be eating the day of Christmas dinner and at the same time working with the phone (although I hope it's not the truth). But being busy will never stop me from going to the birthday of my best friend in life whom I met since the first day of college until today, when we already have a few years of friendship.
Aunque hay cosas de mi trabajo que me gustan, lo cierto es que tiene un horario algo demandante puesto que nunca se sabe el día en el que te pueda salir una pauta fuera de la jornada laboral. Me ha pasado antes que podría llevar un mes panificando ir a algún lugar, hacer una fiesta, ir a una salida con amigos y un día antes me avisan que hay una pauta que se debe cubrir por lo que me toca cancelar. La verdad es que me ha tocado equilibrar mi vida laboral con la personal en muchos casos.
En esta ocasión no fue la excepción, efectivamente tuve una pauta, por fortuna no era un trabajo que debía cubrir en su totalidad por lo que pude coordinar todo para tener el tiempo justo de cumplir con todos los compromisos. Estuve trabajando desde las ocho de la mañana hasta la una de la tarde, eso me dio el tiempo para preparar el almuerzo, el bolso con el outfit para la fiesta y hasta de preparar mi regalito especial jajaja.
Una ventaja también fue que al ser fin de semana, el transporte trabaja hasta más tarde, se vuelve más pesado luego de la mañana pero siguen pasando buses y carros hasta cierta hora de la tarde, así que por esa parte no estábamos preocupados. Estuvimos en la parada alrededor de las cuatro esperando que pasara cualquier vehículo que nos llevara hasta el otro lado del charco. Pasó un carro que nos dejó cerca de la parada de otra linea que nos lleva hasta la casa de mi mejor amiga. Por suerte todo fue rápido y llegamos justo.
(Por cierto, se que tengo el cintillo de feliz cumpleaños en la cabeza pero no es para mi, se lo llevaba a mi mejor amiga pero para que no se dañara en el camino me lo llevé en la cabeza jajajaja. Ya con esto aclarado seguimos con la programación jaja)
Although there are things about my job that I like, the truth is that it has a somewhat demanding schedule because you never know the day when you might have an out-of-hours schedule. It has happened to me before that I could have spent a month planning to go somewhere, have a party, go to an outing with friends and a day before I am notified that there is a schedule that must be covered so I have to cancel. The truth is that I have had to balance my work life with my personal life in many cases.
This time was no exception, I had a schedule, fortunately it was not a job that I had to cover in its entirety so I was able to coordinate everything to have just enough time to meet all commitments. I was working from eight in the morning until one in the afternoon, that gave me time to prepare lunch, the bag with the outfit for the party and even prepare my special gift hahaha.
An advantage was also that being a weekend, the transportation works until later, it gets heavier after the morning but there are still buses and cars passing by until a certain time in the afternoon, so we weren't worried about that part. We were at the bus stop around four o'clock waiting for any vehicle that could take us to the other side of the puddle. A car passed by and dropped us off near the stop of another line that would take us to my best friend's house. Luckily everything went quickly and we arrived just in time.
(By the way, I know I have the happy birthday headband on my head but it's not for me, I was taking it to my best friend but so it wouldn't get damaged on the way I took it on my head hahahaha. Now with that cleared up we continue with the programming haha)
Después de pasar nuestro tiempo de chicas comenzamos con una de las cosas que mas disfruto cuando nos reunimos y es arreglarnos juntas. Desde siempre, cada que veía serie y películas de adolescentes donde veía como las amigas se reunían y se maquillaban juntas antes de salir a una fiesta, quise experimentar algo así, y ahora lo hago junto a mi mejor amiga y lo amo. Cada que la visito, así sea para ir a la tienda nos arreglamos porque nos encanta hacerlo y lo disfruto muchisímo. No hay nada como colocar música, estar con tus grandes amigas y pasar un momento ameno junto a ellas maquillándonos, hablando y divirtiéndonos.
After spending our girl time together we started with one of the things I enjoy the most when we get together and that is getting ready together. Ever since I used to watch TV shows and teen movies where I saw how friends would get together and do their makeup together before going out to a party, I wanted to experience something like that, and now I do it with my best friend and I love it. Every time I visit her, even if it's just to go to the store, we get dressed up because we love doing it and I enjoy it so much. There is nothing like playing music, being with your great friends and having a great time with them doing our makeup, talking and having fun.
Luego ya estuvimos listas para empezar la fiesta. Disfrutamos mucho todo y amé ver a mi gran amiga feliz y pasar este día especial junto a ella. Me encanta que ahora esto se haya convertido en una especie de tradición el pasar los cumpleaños juntos, que ellos vengan a mi hogar tanto como el nosotros ir a su casa ya sea por cumpleaños o por simplemente ir a visitarlos.
Then we were ready to start the party. We enjoyed everything and I loved seeing my great friend happy and spending this special day with her. I love that now it has become a sort of tradition to spend birthdays together, that they come to my home as much as we come to their home for birthdays or just to visit them.
